I own this car - My approximate mileage is 300,000

Cons: "Cheep door handles"

"Best value, purchased 12 years ago at 160000mi and have almost 300000mi now. Repairs have been few, water pump, alternator, starter and muffler, that's it! Comfortable ride nice on trip, easy on gas. The bad- door handles are cheap and have been replaced numerous times, never left me stranded.Ready to pass it on, kids are gone, will still be a good van for someone else."

"Have owned '89 Safari XLT for 12+ years and put 175K miles on it to bring it to 267K total. Comforable for cross country trips, economical (17 city, 22 HWY), $ .07 per mile cost to own and maintain. Paint Peeling is only problem, no rust. Love it!"

"Comfortable and roomy. The back seats are stable and comfortable. Lots of space for long trips, or just to pack a lot of stuff into. Easy to load and unload. Very easy to drive. A great all around vehicle."
