"I purchased this car new 19 years ago and it's still running very good. After 19 years, the body, while not gone, is disappearing! Has been a very good cost effective car. 4 doors would have been a better car."
"Bought this car in 2004 with 65K miles on it. Now that it has been over 10 years - I would say a good car. Problems: had to change bearings twice, seats aren't that comfortable, had trouble getting the ignition key out and used a screw driver for 6 years, but other than that it was a good purchase. Rusted out (Michigan weather) but got rear ended one day at a bus stop and it started rusting after that."
Pros: "fun to drive and dependable - best headlights ever"
Cons: "Backed into pole, some minor damage"

"Just had a warrantied, reconditioned engine installed as I was going to keep it forever. But I am too old. It is too high and I cannot see well enough. New Tires, excellent condition, little rust (very little), white in color, full tow package, top luggage rack; it is just a great car and you can do anything with it. 4 wheel drive. Warranty is transferrable and good for 3 years - all records kept since it was new. One owner before me, the father of a Caddy dealer in Venice. New tires, new battery, great sound, best truck - you will love it. My mother is almost 90 and just gave me her car, a 2000 Buick which is more my speed now that I am older.
Selling to first one with cash, I live in Englewood, Florida, south of Sarasota and North of Ft. Myers. Also has car cover (was $178 just for that!) Some minor damage on dashboard, heat, but not looking for the moon for it."
"I love my Jimmy but one of the two things I haven't liked is the brakes. The brakes are awful, not only in how they work but also in the brake dust that ends up caked onto the front rims. These are almost impossible to get clean. The rears quickly wear grooves in the backing plates then the shoes get hung up in the grooves all the time. The other thing I have hated on this vehicle is the 4.3's problem with intake manifold gaskets."
