2005 GMC Envoy

Best GM vehicle ever made! Hands down!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 130,000

Pros: "50 characters? I'll just say EVERYTHING!"

Cons: "THEY NO LONGER MAKE IT!!"

"I bought a 2004 Envoy used in 2006 with approx 20k miles. It needed tires and the brake rotors gave a pulsation from the rust that accumulated due to it sitting at dealer lot for a while. They put new tires/brakes on it, and I replaced tires at 85k and they were by no means bald. And the brakes I recently replaced (120K) with about 15-20 pad left and rotors still ran out straight creating no pulsation in the pedal whatsoever. Other than that, at approx 80k I replaced spark plugs (no wires-coil on plug), fuel filter, serpentine belt, and FPR. I use the factory Oil chg monitor and Mobil 1 5-30. That is it. Not a single breakdown, original battery still has loads of power, every single feature in the car works as it did they day it was made. I am a mechanic, and I do maintain my vehicles meticulously, but I have never had one go this long without a water pump/fuel pump/alternator/wheel bearing/u-joint, etc. failing. Best car GM ever made too bad it was short lived!!!!!"

LOVE THIS SUV

"Had this car for 10 years..........nothing but dependable. I will keep it until it is no longer drivable. Comfortable amd great stereo too!"

I love this Envoy

"I have owned this vehicle since July 09 and love it. Plan on keeping for many more years. The only problems I have had is the water pump and a temperature sensor went out on me and I have had to clean the throttle body out twice (carbon build up will make it run very rough and even cut off). The value has dropped significatly since I bought it but I guess that goes for most cars. I just recently added trailblazer SS wheels and lowered it a little to give it the stance I wanted. Fuel milage is not very good considering the size. I average about 16MPG."

This is the best vehicle I have ever owned

"I purchased this Envoy new. I have driven it in all conditions and on many different road conditions from from small town winter damaged to narrow rough mountain roads. I have been completely satisfied with the performance of this vehicle. This suv is still stylish in todays market. I usually only keep my vehicles 8 years, but I have not found any new vehicles that spiked my interest enough to make a trade. My only complaint is the frame rusting."

Best vehicle I have ever owned

Pros: "Everything you could ask for in a vehicle."

Cons: "interior lighting is bad. difficult 3rd row access"

"Without a doubt this is the BEST vehicle I have ever owned. Reliable in any weather. Comfortable to drive. very low maitenance. Can tow 6800 lbs without flinching! Bells-whistles-gadgets gallore!! And the Bose sound system..second to none. And it can get 18 MPG on the hwy. Rear passenger audio. Rear passenger climate control."

Great vehile!

Pros: "safe & sound SUV to be in!"

Cons: "gas mileage is on the low side.13-20mpg"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This truck is so dependable and safe to be in. Handles fantastically in all weather conditions. To bad they don't still make this SUV.The only draw back is the gas mileage, but when you have all 3 seats filled and the A/C going in July-Aug it is acceptable. I would buy another only if Alley financial was not involved!"
