About GMC Envoy

Do you find yourself attracted to the reasonable size and off-road ability of the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, but feel your position in life requires you to drive something a bit more upscale? Well, you're in luck, because that's exactly what you'll find in the 2009 GMC Envoy and Envoy Denali. Though identical to the TrailBlazer under the skin, the Envoy visually excels beyond its Chevrolet counterpart with its upscale exterior, plush interior and, for those who can afford the extra premium, high-end Denali trim package. The Envoy is extremely flexible, offering a choice of six- or eight-cylinder engines with two-wheel or four-wheel drive. When equipped with the V8 and the optional tow package, the Envoy can pull up to 6,600 pounds.

"Pro's: exterior styling, 4WD,adjustable pedals, highway handling, great sight lines, upgraded interior, lots of room for cargo and passengers, satellite radio and ONSTAR,running boards, inline-6 gives V8 power; dashboard controls are very driver friendly, plenty of rear seat room Cons: Average gas mileage, seats could be a little more comfy, cup holders are not located coorectly, should have redesigned console for accessiblity and storage,"

"Since we bought this suv it has had to be in the shop 6 times in less than 2 years. The starter quit the tail lights including brake light on the left side will stop working sometimes when you go over a bump, Have to take the covers off and just wiggle the bulb and thn it works until the next time. The self leveling pump has a leak in it so after sitting for awhile the suv has to be left running to give it a chance to level back to horizonal. I have nothing but trouble with thing since I bought it. I do not recommend this suv."

"It has been our family travel car and has been extremely comfortable and economical on the free-way. I am presently looking for a newer one due to high miles on mine. Great buy!!!"
