"I've owned my Envoy for 9 years already and haven't had any issues with it. I've been in two "t-bone" accidents and no major damage was done to the front end of the truck. Engine wise, it's been great of course, I've always done my regular maintenance and tune ups. Towing is great, towed a lot of cars with it. It's great in the snow and can't beat the sitting and comfort with 5 teenagers along for the ride. I already have a buyer if I ever decide to sell it."

Excellent SUV, with over 177,000 miles.

"Second owner since 22k miles. SLT model with 4 wheel drive. Normal friction items replaced, brakes, tires. The fan clutch was replaced. It's been a reliable mid sized SUV. I've owned a Tahoe at the same time, which I personally preferred for comfort, space and higher towing capacity. The Envoy is a very practical size. Good towing ability and ground clearance. Has a solid engine."

Pros: "Passing power, towing, driving in snow, reliable"

Cons: "Had a few electrical problems and average radio."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Bought my Envoy with 75,000 miles and now have 211,000. This has been a great SUV. Normal replacement of tires, filters, spark plugs, brakes, etc. Still runs great and does really good in snow! I would buy another if they still made them. The Terrain is too small and the Acadia is to big...The Envoy was just the right size and built on a truck frame."

Pros: "Good for towing a trailer, 22 MPG when not towing"

Cons: "Built-in navigation maps can't be updated"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 5

"I have the 2008 Denali 4x4 that I purchased new. I needed something to replace our S10 Blazer and it had to be something that could tow a 3,000 pound trailer. The dealer gave me a good deal on this one. It towed our new trailer w/o any issues. Maintenance has been minimal aside from scheduled maintenance. I had my mechanic give it a complete inspection earlier this year when he changed the spark plugs and cleaned the fuel system. He didn't find anything that needed repaired. It gets 22 MPG on the highway (w/o the trailer). The four-wheel drive comes in handy on snow. The built in navigation system's maps cannot be updated so I use a Garmin instead. The On-Star system failed a few years ago. It wasn't covered under the extended warranty and since we never used it, I didn't bother to get it repaired. The XM radio still works fine. We plan to keep it for a few more years. It is outdated compared to all of the features and technology in the current crop of SUV's. If I had to replace it right now, I'd probably go with a Jeep Grand Cherokee."
