"I have owned my 1998 GMC 2500 4 wheel drive since 15000 miles and it now has 188000 miles and runs great. I have had very few repairs other than scheduled maintenance. Last year I completed a 2000+ mile trip to PA with a 22 foot trailer without a problem. It is the most comfortable, has good ergonomics in the controls, and everything still works. I would recommend it to anyone."
"They are not lying when they say that "they don't make them like they used to." This truck has outlasted my friends brand new 02' z71, another friends dodge ram. Numerous ford's. Mine is still running strong and making me money working. It also seems that the repairs were way easier on my truck then the rest we had to work on. It does leak oil unfortunately and about ready for a new one but this truck has been worked harder than most. Pulling trailers and hauling yards of material. I am afraid to sell it and get a new one that is not as good."
"I own a 94 GMC 2500 long bed 5.7 that I bought for the sole purpose of using it for dump runs, work, and moving from place to place when I or any friend needs to. I absolutely LOVE this Truck!! It runs awesome pulls everything I put in it and I have loaded it over the roof and the truck has no problems. Ive had to use it a few times when my daily breaks down and this truck can be driven anywhere. I firmly believe that nothing beats a good ol' American work truck. If you want durability, dependability, and straight muscle BUY AN OLD AMERICAN TRUCK!!"
