Pros: "Durable truck, fun driver, easy fixes & economic"

Cons: "Bleached paint, flimsy interior, weak tranny"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"Purchased second hand for my kids to use in high school but has been used for their college years. It had a few dings and dents and has sustained a few more over the years. Having owned GM trucks and Suburbans previously, this machine is extremely simple and cheap to maintain and repair in comparison. It's still running strong with the original V6. The only major repair has been the tranny. The only issue I wished they had considered was building the interior trim and dash to be a bit more durable. With its' age, I fear working on anything as it's become so brittle it easily breaks and snaps at the anchoring points."

Cons: "Doors break often"

"This truck is easy to handle, smooth on the road, very nice interior-wise, and really comfortable. Since I've owned mine, I've had trouble with the Fuel Pump and the Starter, but nothing else. It's a good, reliable, nice truck!"

"In my opinion there is no better Truck than Chevy & GMC. It has been a blast to drive and I will keep it until I have to bury it. Its like a Timex Watch. Takes a Licken and keeps on Ticken."

Pros: "very comfortable and fun to drive"

Cons: "back lower cab corner has rusted through"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"this Truck has been a daily driver to work. I Farm part time and it has been used to pull 5 ton fertilizer buggies, anhydrous tanks, trailers with 200 bales of hay and numerous other heavy hauling operations for a 1500 size truck. My only complaint is that at 120,000 I had to replace the intake gasket. Other than that only regular maintenance. The 4.3 V6 motor is "guttsy" and durable."
