Pros: "Still reasonable but I believe price will increase"

Cons: "Would like a little more trunk space"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought the car from a friend who always kept it garaged and never drove in winter or rain. I bought the car with less than 3k miles on it two years ago. I've never had the hardtop on it. Car is so much fun to drive. Gas mileage is actually pretty good between 20/25 mpg. The only thing I don't like about the car is the color (dark grey) not that it is bad, I would just as soon have a red one. Car is quick and very responsive. The car has a lot of room inside plus good leg room which I need and also sets it apart from many other sports cars. I highly recommend the car."

"The Red Roadster with White Hardtop convertible 2002 T-Bird is the Hottest Pick up Car for cruisin on the streets, it is good on gas and great on style- easy to park and fun to drive, it is an American classic-if you can find one!"

Pros: "Fun beyond get out to drive."

Cons: "Poor fuel economy and uncomfortable for a tall man"

"The T-Bird was my dream car and I don't regret buying it, but it's been a problem a time or two when I've doubted it's worth. I has a tire blow on the right front wheel at 60 MPH and the Thunderbird handled quickly when I made the emergency stop so the handling is great, but the mechanics of the car has caused me to have to sink quite a lot of money into it to keep it running correctly. I've. Had to replace two oxygen sensors in the exhaust and now there are two more that have gone bad so that's an issue. The fuel pump went out and it cost me almost $800 to have it replaced. It seems that when I fix one thing something else goes wrong with it. The convertible roof has always leaked and when you wash the car the inside gets wet from where the door glass doesn't seal properly. Many of those things could have been taken care of under warranty by the original owner, but they were not so inclined to pay attention. Regardless of these issues, I would purchase it again and I will keep it until it is a classic car. The one thing that concerns me is that the Thunderbirds, in spite of their rarity, and in spite of them not being made any more, they don't hold their value. I got an exceptional deal on mine when I bought it, but many others paid thousands more for theirs."

"Before I die I wanted to own a convertible and when this TBird came out in 2002 I wanted one so bad. The baby blue with white top was my favorite...but instead I got the canary yellow....love it. Never have regreted buying it and I take very good care of it and it stays in the garage all winter long...has never been driven in the snow...no..no...Its feel like a dream, but its real...."

Pros: "Great Classic with modern driving accessories."

Cons: "Wish I had 2 so I could rotate the cars and colors"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I purchased a 2005 50th Anniversay Tbird convertable with a removeable hardtop. The car came from Florida with 13000 miles. It has the K&N air filter and Borla less restrictive exhaust system. The car is fantastic and one that will not be a "garage queen"! Handles very well on the back roads as well as the interstate. Room in the trunk for some real traveling bags but yet maintains that Tbird sports roadster look. You cant go wrong with the 2005 T Bird --- last year of production by Ford and truly a classic that will gain value whether you drive it or store it. I am totally satisfied with this "torch red" convertible and will keep it for many years to come. At age 70 I decided life is too short not to enjoy it more!"
