"I bought my Taurus used with 20K miles on it. I've since put on nearly 100K miles in the past three years. All this vehicle has required is routine maintenance. The car is very comofrtable to drive, has good pickup and decent MPG on the highway. The sound system is very good and the trunk is roomy which is helpful since I pack it with marketing materials. If I am still in a travel job when the time comes to trade this one in, I'll definitely ask for another Taurus. At $11K, I think this was a tremendous value."
"I reallly like my 2007 Taurus. Ford Taurus' have been the only type of cars that I have ever owned. I had some senors problems with both my 94 and 97 cars and some bad work done on the 97 which caused the engine to need to be replaced."
"This car has been nothing but trouble lately. We bought it at 50,000 miles and in the last 24 months have replaced the transmision around 90,000, oil pan 2x, air conditioning went out around 85,000, needed new struts and springs and shocks around 92,000. It is currently in the shop, where it has been for two days, trying to determine why there is a "draw" on the battery...they can't figure out why. Have spent over $4,000 in the last year - it's barely over 100,000 miles. My husband swears this will be the last Ford we ever own. It's also quite loud on the highway, surprising considering it is a rather smooth ride."
