The Taurus carries over with only a handful of minor changes. There are three new exterior colors, plus a re-juggling of what features are standard equipment on which models. For example, a rearview camera is now standard on the SE sedan, as is Ford Sync.

Changes to the 2014 Ford Taurus are minimal. The Limited and SHO trims now offer the Lane Keeping System which uses the electric power steering and audible warnings to help keep the car from drifting out of its intended lane.

For 2013, the Ford Taurus receives a mild exterior freshening, with a new grille and headlight treatment, new wheel designs, and larger LED taillights. A new EcoBoost 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is offered, delivering V6-like performance and 32-mpg highway fuel economy. New features include an available heated steering wheel.

From Ford's perspective the 2010 Ford Taurus is more than a full-size sedan; it's also a flagship for the brand as a whole. As Ford's standard bearer, the Taurus has become a technology and design showcase, showing off the capabilities of the Blue Oval.

Ford's AdvanceTrac electronic stability control is made standard, as are a few previously optional features. A new entry-level trim, the SE, is added to the lineup.

About Ford Taurus

The 2015 Ford Taurus finds itself with stiff competition in the full-size sedan market thanks to the Chevrolet Impala, the Toyota Avalon, and the newly refreshed 2015 Dodge Charger. The Taurus is the oldest sedan in its segment. Nonetheless, Ford has worked to keep up with the competition, refreshing the Taurus a couple of years ago, and adding more technology this year. It also offers a wider range than its competition, including a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, a V6 with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD), and a twin-turbocharged V6 available exclusively with all-wheel drive in the SHO model. On the technology side, the Taurus offers voice-activated interfaces (SYNC), as well as safety and security features like Ford's Lane Keeping System and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Pros: "Price, ride, acceleration, handeling and features."

Cons: "Toyota like doors on compartments, sml trunk light"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I replaced my Lincoln Town Car with this car. I bought the Lincoln over the Mercury because I felt that the price difference was warranted. I bought the Taurus over a Lincoln MKS Because I couldn't find 10K+ worth of difference in the cars. I am not rating reliability because I haven't owned the car long enough. This car rides well, handles and accelerates very well, and I was able to put a 6' stepladder in the trunk with the seats folded down. It has features found in vehicles that are 20k+ more in price. My Sticker was 39,555. Oh, and with the ruby red metalic paint it is a real head turner."

"This car has everything I want in a vehicle. The all wheel drive is a great feature in the Northeast. Heated front and rear seats plus cooled front seats are great. This car has been very reliable and a pleasure to drive!"

Pros: "Performance, safety, stereo, navigation."

Cons: "Chrome flaking on taillight assemblies"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"A nice, comfortable, and fun to drive hot rod. The power and speed is just awesome. The safety features are top notch. Adaptive cruise control is sweet, set the speed and just sit back and let the car drive almost itself. Front brake rotors are slightly warped but performance of the brakes are not compromised. Right-rear taillight chrome housing is flaking off. Second one, first one replaced under warranty. Second one is not covered by the warranty and is $350 for a new one. Best performance is when the fuel tank is full with non-ethanol premium gas."
