"I bought my Ranger in August '01 haven't had any major problems with it other than regular maintenance work. i have an XLT 2.3L 4-cyl super cab 2WD, i love it!! i wouldn't trade it for any other truck out there. It may not be the fastest on the road but it sure is the most stylish. I put a 3" body lift and off-road tires on it to give it that rugged look, all in all, i love my Ranger"
"i bought this truck from a young girl in south carolina who had inherited it from her father.....she did not need another vehicle so she asked her sister if she knew someone here in alabama who would buy it...i drove down to greenville,SC to see it as it only had 21,000 miles on it ( low for a '03 ) ... it runs great and is fully loaded ...( 4 dr cab XLT ) have driven a lot of different vehicles over the years and was pleased by the fit & finish of this truck...i am truy sorry i have to sell it...but thats how i make a living...it towed my '93 ford explorer 2 dr sport without a problem all he way back to fayettevile, al. on a car dolly....i always use new stock to see how they perform as i will not ell something i don't trust ..i will buy another one if i can find one !"
"All the other P/U makers have upsized their trucks, leaving the Ford Ranger the only compact P/U left on the market. The design is old by industry standards, but the price is right and the truck is very reliable. If you want a reliable, small size pickup truck, the Ranger is the only show in town. Nothing fancy, but a good buy for the money and it won't bankrupt you at the gas pump. I own a 2003 Edge w/3.0L V-6 and it gets the job done. I use it to commute (18-19 mpg), haul landscaping material, and tow small trailers without any problems."
