"This year Ranger has it all, BUT beware, all ford rangers will need some tlc in the older years. Everyone I have seen and owned will need a new clutch at 145tho miles, they need new brakes [complete] at 130tho, and a compete tune up every two years. The 1995 model loses power easily uphills, but they do exceed expectations on gas milage, Comfortable cab, nice room in an extended cab. For the mechanic and the backyard mechanic, they are easy to work on, and parts are everywhere. A good truck for under $6000."
"My '95 Ranger XLT Extended Cab has 229,000 miles and is still is good running condition. Besides the usual maintenance, I haven't had much trouble with it. Great for hauling equipment and towing. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a truck on a budget."
