"I bought my Ranger new in 1995, 80 miles on it. All mileage is mine. I'm the guy in the right hand lane of the Interstate doing 48-55 mph you may have flipped off a time or two but I got 30 mpg highway, 26 city before I put the shell on it. I just pulled a fully loaded 6x12 Uhaul trailer from Denver across Wyoming, Utah and Nevada and averaged 18 mpg. It's a strong truck but I take care of things. In last 3 weeks: New factory white paint job ($1700), new ARE shell with roof racks, rear sliding/tilt down front window, sliding sides, raised roof, 2 door rear lock/latches from Suburban Toppers ($2175), new windshield, new sliding rear window, new etrailer tow package w/4 plug electrical, battery, battery cable connectors, cooling system flush, brake system flush, oil/lube from Big O, alignment at Firestone (has lifetime alignment purchased from Firestone), .// 4000 miles on 40K tires, new Monroe shocks all around, new water pump/ thermostat/ thermostat housing, serpentine belt, fuel tank pulled, cleaned out w/new fuel pump, fuel filter, solenoid, ignition relay, clutch replaced 25k ago. I love my truck, have driven Fords all my life and have cared for it well but I need a 4x4 for my work."
