"Due to some finacial trouble I purchased this car in Dec of 04 with 179,000 miles on it. I figured it would due me till I got back on my feet. Little did I know at the time what a great little car this was gonna turn out to be. It had what would be considered normal wear and tear on her. Ive now got 205,000 miles on her. She still runs great, barely uses any oil between changes. It just made a trip from Georgia to West Virginia and back with no problems at all. Ran the a/c and maintained about 80 mph all the way and still got 35 mpg. Im lucky to have some pretty decent salvage yards around Atlanta and have replace several of the worn cosmetic items. With a little TLC these cars are really dependable."
"purchased this 93 4yrs ago for my son, thinking it would be a good car for high school/ college. Immediately spent 700 to have the ignition module/ distributer changed to even run, then 1800 to have the tranny completely rebuilt, then another 350 to repair front axle bearing assembly, car has done fairly well since then, but has a persistent belt squeal that doesn't seem to have a fix. Car rides and drives very well, looks sporty and fun, but paint is poor, and the interior door panels are pathetic. great car when running if you can overlook the cheap door panels."
Cons: "no cup holders, back seat tight for people over 5'"

"I have an 95 Ford Probe and it gets better gas mileage then some of the new cars out there. She's gets 24mpg & 33 mpg on the highway. I purchase this care used back in 2003. I get regular maintenance (at least I try too) and Red seems to take care of me too. Only two big repairs done to my car; transmission (under warranty, didn't cost me a dime) and electrical(out of pocket $2000). My sister drives a new Toyota and it seems to be in the shop more than she drives it and her gas mileage is awful. All and all I love my little "Red" car. :)
I'm now running into new problems since she is so old, they have stop making parts for this car. I have to shop at junk yards. But, Red doesn't drive like an old car. She still drive like the first day I got her. AWESOME"
