I own this car - My approximate mileage is 23,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"There is only one thing I dislike about this car. With the 6-speed manual transmission, the cup holders are for storage only. If you put a drink in one of them, you can't shift without bending your arm all funky to get around the drink. Power: 412hp and 390tq from the factory? Yes please! Power is smooth and brutish at the same time. With just an intake, off road X-Pipe and a tune, I put down 420/393 to the rear wheels! Stock it put down 379/363. Gains of 41hp and 30tq for such simple mods is outstanding! Brakes: Work great. Not meant for autocross, but everyday driving they are awesome. Interior: Materials, fit and finish are great for this iteration of the Mustang. Stock Shaker500 is pretty good. Sync is simply awesome! Seats are VERY comfortable but lack lateral support. Back seat can fit young adults and shorter adults and are surprisingly comfortable for what they are. Suspension: Does the job very well. The smoothest ride I've had in a sports car! Handles every thing well, but doesn't excel at cornering and stopping due to lean and nose dive. I installed a set of after market lowering springs, Steeda Ultra-Lights, and it transformed this Mustang from a powerful straight line street machine to one that can get very spirited in the corners and nose dive during braking and turn-in is now almost nonexistent. Styling: It's up to the beholder, but I absolutely LOVE it! Styling doesn't interfere with rear view capabilities like the Camaro does. Mine is Race Red and I literally cannot stop anywhere, even in traffic, without someone complimenting me on my 'Stang! Overall: Simply the best Mustang Ford has ever built."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 700
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Value"
Cons: "Rear suspension"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8
"The base V6 is arguably the best sports-car value in the market. I've been getting 30+ mpg when cruising between 55-70mph. And with the more than ample power, that is simply great. The only real drawback of this vehicle is the solid rear axle. When you hit bumps at speed, and particularly when turning, you WILL feel as though your rear end is unstable. This does no inspire confidence, and is perhaps the biggest blunder Ford still needs to fix. It's not evident in calm, everyday driving, but under slick or bumpy conditions, and at speed/turns, the non-independent rear suspension will rear its ugly head. Otherwise, this car is pretty great. It's a bit large, and maybe a bit sluggish compared to other sports car options, but it screams AMERICA and I love mine."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 46,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Awesome retro looks, power, dependable, reliable,"
Cons: "Small back seat. But I never sit there!"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"OK.... I have owned many a car in my 47 years of existance, but this is in my top 3, next to a 69 firebird and a 67 mustang 289!! Plenty of power from the 4.0 V6, handles like a go-cart, beautiful lines, the interior is beautifully simple like cars of old, just you and your ride, nothing beeping or talking, just that rumble, the rumble of Ford power. I have had this car from brand new out of the dealer, never, ever, get tired of the sound when I fire her up and go for a drive. Have had only two problems with her , am at 46,000 miles. Throw out clutch bearing went bad and alternator had to be replaced. But man I love this car.... People say you should have got the GT or the Shelby, but you know what.... she is mine, she is paid for and can't think of anything I would rather be driving. So if you find yourself down Florida way and a beautiful 06 Tungsten gray pony car passes you with the driver smiling from ear to ear.... thats just me "still" enjoying my Mustang just like the day I first drove her off the lot!! Mustang styles will come and go but for me this one is Juuuuuust right!"
