"My first new car and I love it. Still owe WAY more than Blue Book but expected that. I bought it to keep. Some problems with compact disk changer, but was replaced under warrenty. I've done business with two different Ford dealers and service is excellent. Don't buy one if you expect to trade it in. You'll lose money BIG time. Do buy one if you love to drive! Especially a 5spd manual trans. it's a blast!"

"There is only one thing I dislike about this car. With the 6-speed manual transmission, the cup holders are for storage only. If you put a drink in one of them, you can't shift without bending your arm all funky to get around the drink. Power: 412hp and 390tq from the factory? Yes please! Power is smooth and brutish at the same time. With just an intake, off road X-Pipe and a tune, I put down 420/393 to the rear wheels! Stock it put down 379/363. Gains of 41hp and 30tq for such simple mods is outstanding! Brakes: Work great. Not meant for autocross, but everyday driving they are awesome. Interior: Materials, fit and finish are great for this iteration of the Mustang. Stock Shaker500 is pretty good. Sync is simply awesome! Seats are VERY comfortable but lack lateral support. Back seat can fit young adults and shorter adults and are surprisingly comfortable for what they are. Suspension: Does the job very well. The smoothest ride I've had in a sports car! Handles every thing well, but doesn't excel at cornering and stopping due to lean and nose dive. I installed a set of after market lowering springs, Steeda Ultra-Lights, and it transformed this Mustang from a powerful straight line street machine to one that can get very spirited in the corners and nose dive during braking and turn-in is now almost nonexistent. Styling: It's up to the beholder, but I absolutely LOVE it! Styling doesn't interfere with rear view capabilities like the Camaro does. Mine is Race Red and I literally cannot stop anywhere, even in traffic, without someone complimenting me on my 'Stang! Overall: Simply the best Mustang Ford has ever built."

"Every time I get in this car my heart automatically begins to pound. I guess when I get much older (I'm 52 now) and the heart gets weaker, I'll have to stop driving her if I do not want to risk a heart attack. The car gets very positive comments every where I take her. At intersections, people will take out there camera phones and snap pictures. This car has the looks and the power that you could only imagine. I guess the only thing negative about this muscle car would be the gas mileage, but then again, we are talking about a factory 500hp engine and what can you expect. It is hard to keep your foot out of the accelerator. It has taken me 3.5 years of owning this car to master the desire to drive a little sensible. When I first got this car, my wife was always telling me to slow down. Thank God he spared me long enough to get a clue. It is just the feeling, the rush of being able to mount that kind of power and run through the gears that makes you lose your mind and drive like the maniac that probably dwells within all of us. I have performed a few tweaks and now have approximately 605hp at the flywheel. The car begins to redline at 6000 rpms and in 3rd gear it will run 60mph at 3000 rpms. Fourth gear at 120mph is around 4300 rpms and you still have 5th and 6th gears to go. How fast have I had this car up too? I have taken her up to 145mph twice and she gets there very fast..before you know it and it makes me nervous. This car is NOT for the youth. It will injure and/or kill. I'm just being honest. Hope this review helps."

Pros: "American made quality that holds its own"

Cons: "parking so far away to avoid door dings"

"Well, I was all set to buy a new 5.0 GT when I went shopping for a new Mustang (this is my 4th starting with a 1967 Fastback). But then I saw a Deep Impact Blue V6 with the saddle leather interior and decided to try it out just to see the difference that would be $6k less, much better mileage, regular vs premium gas, and lower insurance. After driving it, I feel that the new V6 with 305 Hp is all the power I really need and the ownership cost savings are significant. The premium package is well worth the additional cost with the upgrades that I felt were necessary. The pony package adds a different grill and nicer wheels for $995. Added side scoops and window louvers just for fun and a strut tower brace for better handling. The V6 can be easily upgraded to 400+ hp if you feel the desire in the future for more power. I'm very happy with the purchase so far and have no problems so far. Sure, a little buyers remorse for not getting the 5.0, but this is a good compromise between sporty and practical. Costco auto buyer program saved me a considerable amount on the purchase. Sticker $29,880. Costco price was $25,312."
