Whether you're looking for a fun and affordable sports car to relive your youth, or a fast and furious street rod to keep you from growing old, there's a 2012 Mustang with your name on it. With 31-mpg
Those who seek an independent rear suspension, a muted purr from the engine and styling more at home at the Opera than a NASCAR event might prefer a more subdued (and probably pricier) European sports
Refusing to give up its solid rear axle design, Ford has created for the 2012 Mustang an inexpensive rear suspension that performs quite well and is as comfortable in cruise as it is quick in the corners. I own this car - My approximate mileage is 60,000
overall rating 2 of 10rating detailsPros: "Good engine"
Cons: "Not reliable, especially the clutch and the breaks"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I had many cars in my life, most of them rear wheel drive, manuals. The Mustang GT however was a big disappointment regarding regarding reliability. Yes, I admit, the engine sounds good, and it is fun to drive, but I had to get three new pair of breaks within 20.000 miles. With the same driving style I got 100.000 miles out of the BMW M3 before the breaks were done. The quality of most other things in the car is also on average poor. (AC not working after 50.000 miles, water coming in the inside and so on..... You might think I just don't take care of the car, but that is not true either.... Just bad experience, and it was definitely my last Ford."

"So happy that Ford retro’ed the Mustang. Brought the “Got have it Green’” 2013 GT 5.0 and already have 17,000+ miles!!! Great handling but I do wish that they address the under-steering? Camaro has, so I hope Ford hears our wants/needs from the field but I still stand behind Ford!!!"
