"If you never take the time to sit down in and enjoy the experience of a mustang, you'll never really understand why this car is so popular and loved by so many. With the aftermarket support for mods, the Mustang can reach unbelievable power and experience with low cost. The ultimate bang for buck."

Pros: "price, fun, longevity, gas mileage"

Cons: "tight in the backseat for kids"

"I bought my mustang with 2 miles on it on my birthday in 2004. Nearly 60k miles and 12 years later, I'm finally sitting down to write a review. I'm doing this to help any potential buyers for this year of stallion (2005). I put some performance upgrades into mine over the years like CAI and race tune to make it a little more fun. Before the additions, it performed just fine. I was amazed at how easy upgrades would be for a non-mechanic like me, thus I did them (also added premium wheels and exhaust). Black rides so smooth and has had no mechanical issues. In fact, my biggest issue has been the battery because I refuse to drive it in the rain! It sits in the garage much of its life now because of the Oregon rain. To sum it up, have fun and get one of these stallions. Look at the owner ratings and read the testimonials."

with the top down and rear set covered. Drive as 2 seater or 4 seater with stock boot.

"Customized. Stored in heated garage winter months, Oct.- May eye catcher needs to be seen. Purchased for wife who is disabled and was not thrilled after first year. To much to list."

Pros: "Performance - stops, goes like a dream!"

Cons: "None!!!"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Incredible car! - gratuitous power, stopping ability, options, and accessories - had it 3 years, 7200 miles, and I bought ultra high performance all-season Michelin tires - which improved the handling tremendously - lots more grip, lots more stability - with the original Goodyears, the back end would break loose if I gave it even a little too much gas - even at highway speeds - now it's a grown-up car! - I love the performance! - and, better yet, it's totally reliable - NO problems at the 3-year point! - thanks, Ford!!!"

We love this car!!

"This is the second Mustang Convertable we have owned, both the 2001 and our 2014 were Ruby red. People regurlarly tell us how beautiful our car is. We do wash it and spray wax it every day. The 2001 we bought used with about 100K miles, we loved this car, and when we decided to up-grade, we found our 2014 for sale as a used car with 4400 miles. We could not resist. We go the car at a great and affordable price. We hope to keep this car untill we have at least 1,000,000 miles on it!"

"The gears went bad in 2012 at 72,000 mi.Under warranty for 100,000 mi. Would have cost me $2300. Plastic writting fading on stereo. Has the Shaker 500 upgraded 6 disc. CD player.Sounds Fantastic. I only wish it had an I-Pod jack. Has a 16 gal. fuel tank. Only problem is. Seat gets soar after long trip. PS- You should get out and streach every 200 mi."
