"There is only one thing I dislike about this car. With the 6-speed manual transmission, the cup holders are for storage only. If you put a drink in one of them, you can't shift without bending your arm all funky to get around the drink. Power: 412hp and 390tq from the factory? Yes please! Power is smooth and brutish at the same time. With just an intake, off road X-Pipe and a tune, I put down 420/393 to the rear wheels! Stock it put down 379/363. Gains of 41hp and 30tq for such simple mods is outstanding! Brakes: Work great. Not meant for autocross, but everyday driving they are awesome. Interior: Materials, fit and finish are great for this iteration of the Mustang. Stock Shaker500 is pretty good. Sync is simply awesome! Seats are VERY comfortable but lack lateral support. Back seat can fit young adults and shorter adults and are surprisingly comfortable for what they are. Suspension: Does the job very well. The smoothest ride I've had in a sports car! Handles every thing well, but doesn't excel at cornering and stopping due to lean and nose dive. I installed a set of after market lowering springs, Steeda Ultra-Lights, and it transformed this Mustang from a powerful straight line street machine to one that can get very spirited in the corners and nose dive during braking and turn-in is now almost nonexistent. Styling: It's up to the beholder, but I absolutely LOVE it! Styling doesn't interfere with rear view capabilities like the Camaro does. Mine is Race Red and I literally cannot stop anywhere, even in traffic, without someone complimenting me on my 'Stang! Overall: Simply the best Mustang Ford has ever built."

Pros: "Value"

Cons: "Rear suspension"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"The base V6 is arguably the best sports-car value in the market. I've been getting 30+ mpg when cruising between 55-70mph. And with the more than ample power, that is simply great. The only real drawback of this vehicle is the solid rear axle. When you hit bumps at speed, and particularly when turning, you WILL feel as though your rear end is unstable. This does no inspire confidence, and is perhaps the biggest blunder Ford still needs to fix. It's not evident in calm, everyday driving, but under slick or bumpy conditions, and at speed/turns, the non-independent rear suspension will rear its ugly head. Otherwise, this car is pretty great. It's a bit large, and maybe a bit sluggish compared to other sports car options, but it screams AMERICA and I love mine."

Pros: "Looks, performance, value and fun to drive"

Cons: "None"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Had this car for a year and very pleased with the overall value and performance. No complains from the Manual transmission and the V8 coyote engine is a blast. The 11 and 12 mustangs have the "sharkhead" front end retro design that makes the car look menacing and the California special trim make heads turn. Put on your preferred axel back exhaust and you'll find yourself looking for alibis just to drive it."
