Pros: "Fun fun fun!"

Cons: "Diva of a car, not for the faint hearted!"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Had a Mustang in the 90's but it was nothing like my girl. A 4.6 V8 '98 ragtop with a few modifications (flow masters etc) from her previous owner make her a real beast! At nearly 17 years old she has a few cranky issues, and needs things a certain way to keep her happy (only premium gas, high mileage oil etc.) but she'll do 80 without breathing hard (watch out for that creep!) and blew the doors off of a late model Cameo. The top needs to be babied. Don't roll the windows all the way up until it's closed, but you'll get a nice leak-less seal. It's also quick to open and close with the touch of a button. Only complaint is she's a tad low and her suspension could be upgraded (only noticeable at lower speeds/rougher roads) but she's my cranky, head turning beast and I adore her."

Pros: "Corners well, shifts quickly, parts available"

Cons: "Gas guzzler, emission nightmare"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Brand new Mustangs are overpriced but buy it with a few thousand miles and you'll find a great deal. Parts last longer than your average car unless you use it for other things. Definitely recommend some high end parts on your suspension. Even stock is considered an upgrade from you're regular GT. Handles exactly as I would expect from a car with the Mustang name. A little rough on the bumpy roads so if that bothers you change out some parts. Love this car!"

"Everyone should own a convertible for a while. This has been a good car. Typical mechanical problems. Keep it inside. Makes top last longer."

Pros: "Loyal car, and excellent looker, gets attention"

Cons: "passenger seat belt will not retract, no biggie"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I love my 2002 mustang GT. The car looks and drives like new, I bought this car in 2007 when it was five years old and had 52000 mi. I now have 64000 mi. on it, the car stays covered in my carport, only drive it seldom, I keep it waxed and cleaned, the motor and compartment looks new, only draw back I have is the way it hydroplanes on water, I am thinking about changing from the low profile tires to something else, to give it more control in the rain, other than this the only other thing is the passenger seat belt does not retract once extraction has ben performed, just minor, strong running car for only 320HP."

Pros: "great beach convertable, or first car."

Cons: "Not a GT so its modestly powered, but fun to drive"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"Garage kept, NEVER BEEN IN THE RAIN. A simple beach car that we don't use. 11,400 original miles. We did not drive it much and need the garage space. Engine spotless with original stickers."
