"I have a 1998 ford mustang v6 and I got to say it is the best car I have ever had. Bought in 1999 with 17000 miles on it and now 240470 miles and considering the odometer broke 5 years ago. She is a wonderful car and drives like a cadillac, sure she has some bumps and bruises. Although considering I only paid 13000 for it then I think I got my money's worth. Sure she's had a alternator, starter, spark plugs, and a little more but same motor and transimission as I bought it. I'm getting older now where I won't ac and it hasn't had it since 2005 and going to get it fixed. The interior was built very poorly."
"This car has never been driven in snow. Has white interior with white top. It has been touched up because of scratches. I always get compliments when I drive it. When I was a snowbird I stored it in a heated storage facility in the winter."
"Had a Mustang in the 90's but it was nothing like my girl.
A 4.6 V8 '98 ragtop with a few modifications (flow masters etc) from her previous owner make her a real beast!
At nearly 17 years old she has a few cranky issues, and needs things a certain way to keep her happy (only premium gas, high mileage oil etc.) but she'll do 80 without breathing hard (watch out for that creep!) and blew the doors off of a late model Cameo.
The top needs to be babied. Don't roll the windows all the way up until it's closed, but you'll get a nice leak-less seal. It's also quick to open and close with the touch of a button.
Only complaint is she's a tad low and her suspension could be upgraded (only noticeable at lower speeds/rougher roads) but she's my cranky, head turning beast and I adore her."
Pros: "Corners well, shifts quickly, parts available"
Cons: "Gas guzzler, emission nightmare"

"Brand new Mustangs are overpriced but buy it with a few thousand miles and you'll find a great deal. Parts last longer than your average car unless you use it for other things. Definitely recommend some high end parts on your suspension. Even stock is considered an upgrade from you're regular GT. Handles exactly as I would expect from a car with the Mustang name. A little rough on the bumpy roads so if that bothers you change out some parts. Love this car!"
