Cons: "Needs more horsepower"

"Its my first car I have ever had of my own, and I am proud to drive in it. Once you step on the accelerator and speed up to 100 you could feel all the power in the engine. I would definately want to keep this car 'till the wheels come off!"

I owned and sold this car
Reason: Cannot drive in snow - My approximate mileage is 250,000
Pros: "Reliable engine, good looking"
Cons: "gas mileage, bad in weather"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 5
"This was my first car and I bought it for what I consider a steal at $3800 (unsure of the mileage when I bought it but I believe it was in the low 100,000's). As far as looks go, I was in high school, and what is cooler than a red mustang!? I loved this car, unfortunately the older I got the less realistic it got. Gas mileage was terrible. I spent around 170/month on gas, which is equal to my new car payment. I live in a snowy area, and the car was useless in those conditions, it even would slide about in the rain at times. However, in the five years I drove it, with all those miles on it, NOT ONCE did I have an engine problem. Started for me every single time, even in below zero temps. I will miss this car! I will not miss the gas expense and near death experiences in the snow!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 101,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fun to drive, very low maintenance, great styling."
Cons: "Not great for winter driving."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This car runs great, looks great, has reasonable gas mileage (depending on if you put your foot into it or not), is fast (has performance chip), great suspension, 101,000 trouble free miles so far. Only problem is it's hard to get in and out if you have a bad hip. Not a winter driving car, too much torque in the rear to start moving well on ice or snow, will slide corners too easily, even with 140lbs of sand in trunk. Best car I've driven, very well built. Still looks almost new after driving it for 12 years!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 53,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "power, torque, design, super fun to drive."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have owned 3 Mustangs in this body style. '03 V6 model, 04 GT, and now i own a 2004 competition orange SVT Cobra. This car is unbelievable. So easy to work on and even easier to get more power out of it for a small invetsment. Have never had any problems with all 3 and were very reliable. i drove the previous 2 up to 100,000 miles. i have 53,000 on the Cobra. The Cobra will pin you to the seat like you wouldnt believe. I would recommend these Mustangs to anyone but if you can find and afford one i would definitely go for the Cobra model. The only thing its missing is the new comforts like navigation. I solved this by installing an in-dash wqith navigation. Seats hold you in place very well. i have 500hp and cruise with A/C and get about 15 mpg in the city and about 23 mpg on the highway which isnt bad for a car with such power."
