I own this car - My approximate mileage is 5,200
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Powerful V6 engine,spacious interior,sporty looks"
Cons: "Soft steering,climate controls,headliner"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I bought my 2012 in Nov.2012.I have a friend who's a saleperson a dealership.I had a small list of a few options I wanted;leather, moonroof and a V6.It's a fully loaded SEL model with everything except Navagation.I'm a big guy(6'2 280) and the interior is very spacious. The moonroof does lower the headroom a little, but not enough to say so.The heated leather seats are very comfortable. The stereo has the Sony speaker option and sounds excellent at any volume. The 3.0ltr V-6 has plenty of power and I get an average of 25 MPG.The wing and dual exhaust gives the car a sporty appearance. The dual climate control is a awesome,my wife can set her side temp and I can set mine. The trunk gives plenty of cargo space. There are a few things I don't care for though. The steering is somewhat soft and the headliner edges at the rear and front windows doesn't wrap around for a clean look.It looks like they just put the fabric on and cut it flush giving it a rough apperance. The climate controls are difficult to reach at first, takes a little getting used to.It was the last 2012 they had on the lot and I scored a sweat deal on it which made me like it even more.Overall it's a great Mid-Sized Sedan with all the options I wanted and more."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 11,500
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "roomy and luxurious, with with all the amenities"
Cons: "mpg is bad if you live in a hilly area"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"A joy to drive, roomy and comfortable, even with 5 adults, with all the controls in easy reach. MPG is great if in a flat area, hills will kill it, avg 33 in warm weather, 30 in cool, although I took it on a trip to a flat town and got 40 MPG avg and made it 500 miles with a few gallons to spare on the way there and back (my town is all hills). Creature comforts are great, esp. heated seats! Just wish software engineers would change the hybrid ratio a little, and the biggest improvement would be a detente or two stage spring in the gas (accelerator now, I guess) pedal to let you know you reached the electric limit and it is switching over to gas mode. Oh, and beware the cheap plastic bumpers in really cold weather, they crack apart real easily! On my 3rd rear bumper and 2nd front bumper, at about $2300 each replacement. Just leaning against it will crack it. The rear camera is great and the blind spot warning lamps in the mirrors really help a lot. The car handles and rides like a luxury car (only have a friend's BMW and another's Cadillac to compare it to) and can get you into trouble easily (it will get to the limiter, 'nuff said)."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 14,000
overall rating 6 of 10rating detailsPros: "Nice car, good quality"
Cons: "Boring to drive."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 5
"I traded in my Mazda6 for this Fusion, hoping that since they are the same platform, they would have similar driving characteristics. I am truly disappointed. While the Mazda was fun to drive, and got great gas mileage (average 29.6 mpg over 7 years), the Ford is basically just a nice car. It has a good ride, and is the most comfortable car I've owned in this segment. The Fusion words hard at acceleration, without a lot of success. The engine is a bit noisy, and there is no self-shift mode for the transmission. Gas mileage is a bit disappointing as well at 26.1 mpg (exactly on the EPA estimates). Overall, it is a nice car, but simply not fun, or particularly fuel efficient."
