"This was the Worst Car I've Ever Owned it had numerous Brake Failure problems ford kept telling me there was nothing wrong & refused to have an expert look at it after the brake failure caused an accident, it was literally one problem after the next, then one day the transmission literally fell apart... I have a kia & I will never buy another ford ever again! Ford has a horrible engine & awful customer service! If you're thinking of buying a ford take my advice & stay away!"
"We bought a brand new Fusion in 2006. Best car I've ever owned. In 5 yrs the ONLY mechanical issues I had were a blown turn signal bulb and after 4 yrs of yanking on passenger door handle, it gave out. But, not the vehicles fault. My wife continually abused that power lock. Anyway, we were in a crash that totaled it. A dump truck towing a back hoe hit us from behind. The car did EXACTLY what it was supposed to do......crumple. Although injured, I was 100% impressed with the cars crash handling. I believe the crumple technology saved my life, and my wife's.
So, we felt compelled to buy another. A fully loaded 2009 Fusion. It has performed as well as the 06. Outside of scheduled maintenance, the vehicle has been rock solid. Zero major errors. With 79,000 miles she's only had issues with the rear license plate light & the one tire pressure sensor gauge. Tires wear faster than any car I ever owned. But, you can't go wrong with this vehicle."
"This is the first car I ever owned that had NO issues.
Bought it new. It needed a battery after 5 years, front brakes after 60,000, rears at around 66,000.
It has no rust, runs great, and I would keep it for another two years if we weren't giving it to our daughter for my grandson. My only complaint, as if I need one, is it's short turn radius. Lets just say , if you are looking for a parking spot in Walmart's lot and you see one, you better plan ahead."
Pros: "Very roomy, comfy ride, can be a little peppy (V6)"
Cons: "May need some servicing in the transmission"

"This is a really good car, gets me where I need to go, but may need some servicing under the hood, but it is overall, a really good car, has plenty of room all over, lots of trunk space, gets about 22 or 23 mpg city, and about 24 mpg highway. It rides really well, interior is very well kept up, has a clean title, has some service records that can be provided, even from its recent oil change and tire rotation. Photos will be provided soon."
"I particularly Enjoy It's Highway Performance. It Hugs The Road. Secondly,I Enjoy The Bluetooth It'S Very Convenient To Have A Phone With Hands Free Access. If I Were To Purchase Another, I Would Buy The Same Year,Make & Model. The Paint Is Black With Silver Sparkles In It. I Get Lots Of Compliments From Others On It's Beauty.I Get Great Gas Mileage From This Vehicle. After Purchasing This Car I Found That There Was A Demand For This Particular Model, And I Base This On How Many Offers I Received Repeatedly On A Weekly Bases. And Of Course I Decline Any Offer Made."
"I bought my Fusion new, I sold cars and I am a service writer for a different make - I LOVE MY FUSION. I would love to have a new car every 3 years, but that just isn't practical. I have put on 2 brake pad replacements and one set of rotors, 3 sets of tires, done oil changes and had some other minor repairs. I am hard on cars - this Fusion has rescued homeless dogs, helped me move into my new home and has never broken down. My only complaint is the battery has been replaced more than my brakes has. Last year I had a car accident in it and the value held well enough I kept my car. My goal is to pass my car onto children so they can take it to the track and learn how to drive a manual transmission too. I have packed everything from coffee tables to dog crates filled with abandoned kittens or dogs in the back seat, but mostly it is just me driving. I never have pick up problems getting on and off the highway, no visibility problems for this 5foot driver! After 149k, I still love my car!"
