Outstanding value, great little car

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 79,000

Pros: "Great value; reliable"

Cons: "A little underpowered; not so great in the snow"

"We purchased our 2009 Fusion S (5 spd manual) in 2010, with 17K miles on it, for just under $13K. We now have 80K miles on it, and the only work we've had done on it is new rear brakes last year (and of course tires). It is extremely reliable and runs great on the highway. The base model is a little sluggish (my '97 Accord could have burned this car off the line, even with 200K on it!) but it's a great value, reliable, comfortable, and looks like new."

100k Miles and running like new!

"The car has more than 100k miles, and it is defect free. No mechanical issues. Just normal routine maintenance. I will definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone. It has made me a believer!"

bought it brand new in '09 and still looks great

Pros: "quiet engine and still looks like brand new"

Cons: "road noisy and needs passenger power seats"

"Fourth and last year of this interior/exterior. 2006 thru 2009 every single Fusion, whether an SE or SEL v6, is identical in body and interior style right down to the grill and tail lights. Impossible to tell the difference by looking at them in all those four year vehicles. The engines may have been upgraded each year, but that's all! I am very happy with my '09 Fusion SEL v6. I clean it every day and wax it once a month. I own it and currently have 15 months payments left until it's mine!"

Pros: "dependability, and space"

Cons: "not for a short person backing up, and not a v6"

"WE have had the car for 1 year. WE have driven 25000 miles. It was a used car purchase. Overall i really like it, the car gets fair gas mileage. The automatic with the 4 banger seems to struggle some with interstate on ramps. The back seat is surprisingly roomy, as is the huge trunk. The stock radio sounds great 6 disk cd.. The fm radio reception is another story. My old truck does 10 times better. It now has 85000 miles. I havent done anything to it except a broken windshield washer tank 15 dollars at the salvage. Thats why i love ford parts are cheap. I average about 27 mpg Like I said we drive it everywhere mountains,highway etc..I forgot 1 complaint. If you have a flat you will bend the cheap aluminum wheel easily. luckily it was during the test drive lol.. they fixed it and gave me 2 new tires. I am a mechanic so normally do all of my own repairs. It is probably the most dependable car in its class if you have to fix anything its normally cheap auto salvage stuff. I love the 2.3 engine. the same size my first car had in 1992. The back does angle up alot. My wife who is 5 foot 2 says she cant see well backing up., but at 6 foot 3 I dont have an issue, plenty of head room as well. no 85 octane!! and use motorcraft synthetic oil.. U will not be upset with the purchase."
