"This car has been in and out of the shop since we got it and noone with ford will do anything about it.It's a lemon and the shop is getting tired of fixing it and I'm tired of it being tore up"

Seviced too much; good MPG and comfortable

"I bought my Focus new thinking I wouldn't have problems with it until I had it for a few years...I was wrong. I had my Focus serviced 14 times in a little over a year, 6 times for cruise control issues, 4 times for door leaks which are still not fixed, the Focus emblem fell off, the fake metal looking panel on the steerling wheel peeled and had to be replaced and in doing so they had to replace my airbag, a "computer update" which was apparently a type of recall on the transmission and finally an oil leak...Ugh!! I knew buying this car the shifting wouldn't be as smooth as any other automatic because its a rebuild transmission from a manual...the car shudders horribily while I'm doing errands in town and rolls back on the slightest hill when stopped which was suppose to be fixed by the computer update. Needless to say I'm NOT happy AT ALL with car. I want to get rid of it sooner than later. The only positive thing I can say about this car is that I get an average 35 MPG (I drive 80 miles a day) and its comformtable to drive. The buttons on the steering wheel makes listening to music easy and the interior is very nice...other than that I would recommending getting a different car."

Great vehicle good mpg and power too

Pros: "bang for your buck"

Cons: "mpg could be a little higher"

"I drive more back roads than highway miles so im averaging around 31 mpg. I had a corolla before it averaged around 32 mpg but it had 138 hp this car has 160 hp."

Decent Car, Good MPG, Tranny is Junk

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 1,575

Pros: "Good price, Good MPG, Good Looking."

Cons: "Tranny.... No Sirus radio or the capability.."

"I bought this for my wife. We went form a Kia Soul to this. I should have kept the Kia.. This is by far Fords worst Idea... The tranny shifts way to fast, you can feel the Dual clutch system trying to keep up. I agree its a great idea for fuel savings, but they should have perfected it before they released it to the public.. There are many lemon law suits going on about the trans issue, soon to have mine in the mix also. Other items are, "Really Ford, No std Sirus radio".... My overall driving impression was okay, once it gets to speed the car does do a good job, Ive averaged 35 - 37 on the highways.."

Great car and great fuel economy!!!

Cons: "Back seat a little tight & no std Satellite Radio"

"I drove every small manual transmission 4 door car and bought the Focus. This is my first new Ford and I am impressed. Just took a trip to Tennessee and averaged 39.1 there and back running 70-75 mph. My overall gas mileage for the first 11k miles is 33.6. This thing definitely has more power than the other cars and is very comfortable. No problems at all so far."
