"This car is Fun, Fast and a great value. I am a bit surprised on how fast these are losing resale value , but the EV is still on the upswing in america and as people realize how good of a runabout they really are the values will equalise"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 9,000overall rating 5 of 10rating details

Cons: "Poor mileage performance, especially the plug-in"

"The mileage for this vehicle was advertised at comparable to the Prius V. Not even close. In fact Ford just came out with an amended mileage sticker reducing the delivered milage from 100/43 down to 88/38. With a $10,000 premium for the Energy, this is totally a waste of hard earned money. Should you drive 25 mph, then you may get reasonably close to this reduced mileage claim, but if you drive at posted limits or heaven forbid, you fudge by 3 or 4 mph, the best mileage will fall below the standard hybrid version. The best highway mpg that I have ever gotten is 29.8 driving on the interstate at posted limits. Around the city, you can expect about 50-55 mpge. Do your homework before buying the C-Max Energy... Or buy a standard Hybrid."
