Pros: "compact, good gas milage, comfortable,"

Cons: "unreliable, money-pit, constant repairs"

"This car is the worst car I've ever had. I bought it used in 2013 with 60k miles on it and I thought I was getting a good deal. But EVERYTHING has gone wrong with this car! It could have partially been because it was possibly poorly maintained by the previous owner, but it has been an absolute nightmare! The radio stopped working after about a month, the fuel pump went out within 2 months, the timing belt, serpentine belt, motor mounts, spark plugs, radiator hose, thermostat, and alternator all went out within a year and now the cooling fans are out. When I replaced the alternator it then went out again a little over a year later too. This car has left me stranded 3 times!!! I have done all necessary maintenance on time since owning it, but there is always a new problem to be had. The electrical issues have been the worst problem, it took several mechanics and 2 alternators, pigtail connectors, and a new battery cable harness just to keep it from dying and yet it still has electrical issues. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!!! I can't stress it enough!"

Shiny like new exterior

"This car has excelled in mileage (27-30mpg) for the size of the car, is the most comfortable car I've ever driven, handles like a sports car, still has the gleaming paint and look of a new car, seats 5, has enormous cargo space, and is just a pleasure to drive."

"In the 3 years that I have owned it I can't fault it. Great on gas, always starts. It is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. There is room in the back for my dogs and room on the roof for luggage."

Pros: "Great value, good mpg, reliable"

Cons: "Cheap interior"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"This has been an awesome first car for me and will continue to be for a long time! This car has gotten me to and from without any issues whatsoever. Yes the interior was built cheap on the base model but not too cheap to the point where it's uncomfortable. No center console, rpm monitor, power locks, windows and mirrors on this one but it GETS THE JOB DONE. It has a little pep which is nice when accelerating onto the freeway. A great car. I think I'm going to keep this car for a long time."

Pros: "easy to maintain, good commuter"

Cons: "no power windows, no power locks, no keyless entry"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"I bought this car used in high school as my first car, and I'm still driving it today! It's been great, always gotten me from A to B, never broken down on me, and relatively good on gas. I've been commuting daily for the last year, and the mpg keeps my wallet happy ($25 filled the tank last week). Keeping up with the basic maintenance is all that's ever been required, which isn't too expensive since the car isn't flashy so parts are affordable. Just over 100,000 miles on my odometer and 12 years old with no problems in sight. My only complaints are the lack of power windows, power locks, and keyless entry- I can live without these features, but they would be nice."
