"This ford focus is a reliable car, yo can fill up the gas tank with 25-30 dollars. it is a 5 speed manual car and runs great. it has minor dents on the left side of the passengers seat. The front lip could use a paint touch up, but nothing serious. Clean in the inside, 2 small burn marks due to cigarets. A good stereo system, and comes in with A U haul bicycles mount. This car has never giving me a problem on the road, It could use very minor work nothing serious. your getting your moneys worth guaranteed!"
"What can I say? Went to a car dealer to buy a used PT Cruiser, and drove the Focus home as we got a better deal with lower payments on a new vehicle.
1. problems with the alarm system...finally just disconnected it.
2. Substandard ignition...got stuck 50 miles away from home with a car that wouldn't start. Cost over $500 for a new one. Went on the Internet and saw many, many people with the same problem. Should have been a no charge recall issue.
3. Can't begin to list the various repairs...new head gaskets...rebuilt tranny...valve job...etc."
"Great gas mileage both intown and highway.
Great cargo space.
Good driving - starts in cold weather (below 0 degrees),
good pickup and comfortable long-range riding.
Why did Ford stop making this model?"
"i bought new in 2004, the car is a blast to drive, had a few MINOR warranty repairs when new(to be expected), but after 20,000m.
have only had to do regular maint.
i replaced the brakes at 50,000 but still had a lot of life left to them.
the car is nimble at any speed, brakes some of the best for a small car, powers up to triple digits, and loves to cruise there,
Power, reliability, and all while getting 34mpg.
I don't see myself ever getting rid of this ride."
