Pros: "Long lasting engine and suspension"

Cons: "Seating. Back too upright. Front too narrow."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"The only flaws on the truck are the seating positions. The rear passengers seats are way too upright, not meant to ride in for long duration's. The driver"s seat is about 1-1/2 off center of the steering wheel. Not sure why, because there is plenty of room to the left of the seat. I've owned 6 trucks over the years. If Ford had put Dodge seats in this F350, they would have a truck nobody would or could complain about. The handling is superior to Dodge and Chevy (I've owned both). The payload capacity is by far better than Dodge, Chevy, Nissan and Toyota. The Power Stroke International engine doesn't quite measure up to the Cummin's engine, but it does a capable job nevertheless, averaging 17mpg (My Cummins averaged 19+mpg). Towing is the strongest point about this truck. Why they didn't put a brake controller in these trucks from the get go is beyond me. This is what they are meant for. Holding value is another strong point. It's incredible what a 16 year old truck can sell for, if it has the diesel engine. Not having factory running boards on every truck is another mistake Ford made. The stock mirrors stick out a few too many inches, making them seem like they should be pushed back in every time I walk by the truck. With all the space available under the back seat, why didn't Ford do like Dodge did? Put a cargo area under it, for things like raincoats, jumper cables, flares, ect?"

Pros: "Great value, very powerful, handles+pulls well"

Cons: "Expensive to maintain, uncomfortable ride"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I bought my '99 F-350 dually to haul cattle, it excels in pulling heavy loads. Its fuel mileage is unbeatable, the 7.3 liter diesel engine puts out 18 mpg on the highway. Unfortunately, this is an expensive truck to keep around when only needed as a daily driver. Also, when not pulling heavy loads, the heavy suspension makes for a rough ride on bumpy roads. I love the truck for hauling, but can't justify it without hauling work to do."

Pros: "priced right, awesome to drive, and is an eyecatch"

Cons: "no negative, except this type does use some fuel"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"this f350 is the best pulling tow vehicle I have ever owned. Crew cab is spacious, and comfortable, with sun roof, after market dvd player, with the interior very clean. A four inch lift kit has been installed along with rear receiver for bumper style pulling and a quality goose neck style hitch mounted under bed. The paint is black overall with silver all the way around the bottom half of truck. This is a safe reliable truck that will pull everything in its rated range safely and efficiently. It is an eye catcher with people always inquiring about it."

"I SUPPOSE THEY QUIT THE 7.3 FOR COST CUTTING REASON TO BAD IT ALSO CUT FORD LOYALTY -- BUY A 7.3 THAT HAS BEEN MAINTAINED REGULARLY AND YOU WILL BE A LOT HAPPIER THAN THE 6.0 OWNER -FORD QUIT THE 7.3 IN VERY EARLY 2003"
