"This F250 FX4 6.0 Diesel the best truck I ever had. It gets good fuel mileage,Dependable,Looks good and only has 104000 miles.(BIG TRUCK). Everything works great a/c,cruise control,heated power seats,electric windows even the rear.it is also equipped to haul gooseneck trailer,camper."

Great F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab

"This is a great truck for towing. We have completed our camper travels and now are selling this truck. We are the second owners. The truck is in very good condition with one minor dent that is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. The radio has been upgraded and includes Bluetooth (but the original radio is available is desired). In the bed of the truck is a 5th wheel hitch but it is removable if preferred. The interior of the truck is clean, spacious, and in excellent condition."

Great Ford F-250 Super Duty Super Crew

"This truck has performed well for towing our 5th wheel camper. We are selling the truck as our camper travels are complete. We are the second owners of the truck. The truck has a 5th wheel hitch in the bed of the truck (which can be removed if desired). The body is in very good shape with one minor dent which is not noticeable unless you're looking for it. The original radio has been replaced with an upgraded radio, CD player, blue tooth system (but we have the original radio if desired). The interior is very spacious and comfortable and in excellent condition. The truck is available for purchase at the end of November."

"We have had this truck in the shop every year with the same or close to the same problem every time. This time it is going to cost $3200.00 to get it up and running again! Only 112,000 mi, paid off a long time ago but can't afford to keep it any longer. We will be looking in the direction of a Chevy or GMC from now on like we use to have!"

"Our company purchased six of these trucks during 2003-2007 thinking that they would be a great investment, having good gas mileage, low maintenance and in general would run to 300,000 miles. Boy were we wrong, they have been the worst trucks ever. Most of them started having serious engine issues at 100,000-120,000 miles. We spent on average $12,000 per truck in maintenance costs and never kept any of the trucks over 170,000 miles while most of them only lasted 140,000 miles and more recently our 2006 only has 70,000 miles on it and the turbo charger is going out. While the rest of the truck holds true to Ford’s reputation of building a good truck the Turbo Diesel Motors are the worst and Ford should have never used them in production. We now purchase GMS gas trucks and have been very happy with our purchases."

"This Harley Davidson edition F250 truck with the 6.0 diesel is a great truck in most respects. There are a slew of electrical issues with the 6.0. The EGR valves are a $300+ dollar nightmare. When they stick open, which happens often, the truck will emit thick black billows of smoke until the egr valve decides to close. If you shut the engine off it won't restart until the valve is cleaned and shut. I finally just unplugged the EGR valve and ended the problem. The high pressure oil sensor for which runs the fuel injectors is prone to bad connections and leaking which will make the truck run poorly intermittently. Once you fix this, don't depend on the dealer as this is a great source of $500 + visits as they do everything but the thing they know is causing the problem. I poked the plug with a stick when the engine started acting up and the rpms picked up. I tightened the crimp on the plug and not one more problem in 100K miles. Every visit to the dealer will have someone tell you your turbo might need to be serviced. They even did this when I brought it in to have an ABS brake sensor replaced. A plastic hose connected to the air intake exploded one morning. It looks like a hard plastic part from a shop vac but Ford charges $500 to fix it. $90 fuel filters every 15K miles and 15 quarts of oil every 7500 miles kills the savings the 20mpg the diesel saves you. It was 24 mpg before the EPA saved us and reformulated diesel. So, after 10 years and hundreds spent at carwashes every winter the bed has rotted completely through both wheel wells and a few places through the bed floor. Even the bumper has holes rusted in it from stuff trapped under the plastic step cover Ford sticks on top...great idea that is! I guess to save money they've stopped protecting the metal from rusting because all the Ford trucks I see are rotting like they did back in the early 70s. On the good side this truck will hold 100 mph all day long on the highway and you'd never even know you were moving because it rides smoother than a 737 floating on the jet stream. It is very comfortable. I could sit in it all day. It doesn't fit in any parking garages. It takes a lot of room to turn it around. It takes up one and a half parking spaces. I needed a quart of transmission fluid once. I found out it needs Mercon SP which no respectable autoparts store in my area sells. The only place to get it is at a Ford dealer. It has been a fun truck to own with several trying issues that I was able to work out. If I wasn't mechanical and able to troubleshoot a lot of my own problems the dealership would have bled me dry though. They wanted to do a lot of unnecessary diagnostic things and unneeded repairs hoping I was clueless."
