"This truck is everything you would want in a working truck. It easily pulls horse trailers, has a super smooth ride, is reliable, comfortable and has more than enough power for any job. This is a super farm truck that can take you to the city if you want to go"

"this truck has served us well - and still is a strong runner - we've not had any problems with it even towing our travel trailer. we now have a motorhome so don't need the truck any more, but have loved it all these years"

"I've used this truck to haul everything from crushed stone to a 30' RV. It went everywhere in the big snow (14-18") here in 2010. It will go anywhere and do more than expected from any 3/4 ton pickup."

"My family owns a farm and ranch and I have used this truck on it for a long time. The big 7.3 litre engine is a great engine and can handle a lot of weight. We hauled a lot of cattle with it and never had any major problems. Great pickup for its age. We've put over 300,000 miles on it and the only major problems we've had are the synchronizers in 3rd gear are going out and had some fuse problems. Overall a great pickup to have as a work truck on a farm."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 295,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "great power, good handeling, great work ablity!"
Cons: "needs another gear! oh, ford already fixed that!"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I bought my F250 second hand, but as i said it was bar none the best deal I have ever come into! I have driven the truck for about the last 150k I have only had to fix brakes, tires, clutch, and u-jointsthe standard stuff! I am so pleased with my old truck the 7.3 never dies, and I am yet to run it out of power!I did add 2 leaf springs to the rear axel and one to the front, with than upgrade I have had over 6 tons of gravel and rock on it and it hardly squated, over 5 tons of grain,a tri axel goose neck with a case 850 dozer on it, the truck never batted an eye!!! My truck has lived a harder life than the average truck will ever see, and it has never left me stranded!!! I was sad to see ford do away with the beloved 7.3 powerhouse that made those trucks the workahoulics they are!"
