I own this car - My approximate mileage is 22,000

Pros: "Best looking trucks on the road today"

Cons: "Trans. out at 2000 mi.,no decent fix in sight"

"I bought this F150 about a year ago ,it's got plenty of power and looks great , have enjoyed driving it and would recommend it after (hopefully) Ford makes the transmissions a little tougher . At around the 2000 mile mark the trans.went out and left me sitting . It went in for repairs and lasted approx. 4 weeks and I noticed it started leaking alot of fluid , so back to the shop again . Every since I got it back it still has a bad vibration coming from the transmission but I was told as long as it still functions that it is within acceptable guidlines and there is nothing that ford would authorize . Like I said ,its a great truck but you would think that when you buy brand new the automaker would repair it at this low mileage so that it still functions as a new one should . The 2000 mile mark should be time for another car wash not trans . repair . Maybe the ol boys at ford will change a little something so we can have the tough in "Built Ford Tough" back , I miss it . I'll wait a couple more months and try a 2013 F150 and hope for better luck ."

New Ecoboost F150 with problems

"My brand new F150 shakes, loses power and turns on the check engine light under hard acceleration. I brought the truck to the dealer to have it fixed. They said they found a computer issue that they fixed under warranty. But about 2 days after getting the truck back, and after about an hour long drive, the truck did the same thing. The truck is back at the dealer, but it's been sitting there for two days. This is actually 1 of 2 F150 pickups I own. The other truck I have has the 5.0L V8 with just a hair over 20k miles. It's been 100% reliable so far, but It's gas mileage isn't the greatest."

love my truck!

Pros: "fun to drive and play in!"

Cons: "I paid too much for my truck"

"My truck has been used for highway miles and for pulling a horse trailer. when everyone else got stuck on a trail ride my truck went right into 4 wheel drive and pulled right out of the mud! I love the comfort and the feel when I am driving my truck. I know that no matter what I am safe in my truck. gonna take alot for me to get rid of her!"

Love My 2012 SuperCrew XLT 5.0 V8!!

Pros: "Fun to drive, and enormous space in the crew cab"

Cons: "Gets a little thirsty at the pump"

"Bought my new 2012 F150 during Ford end of year rebates. Love the room of the SuperCrew, and the rumble of the 5.0 V8. The on the go 4x4 feature is great up here in the Washington mountains. I am just getting it broke in, but am looking forward to owning this truck for a long time. I love the Sirius Satellite radio, and hands free blue tooth phone feature, all within arms length on the steering wheel. This has been the best selling pickup for the past 35 years for a reason - American made, American proud."

Good looking truck

"I believe if you drive one of these trucks you will love it. My 2000 F-150 had 197,500 miles when I traded it in on this one. The 2011 STX is so much more. Ford finally put power into their trucks. I have the 5.0. It sounds great, pulls great and is so smooth on the 6 speed transmission. I average 16-18 mpg around town and 19-20 hwy. The truck rides nice and has a very solid feel about it. You would never know that you are in a 4x4 with a trailer package. It rides nicer than some cars. The STX has just the right amount of equipment for me. I can tow 9700 lbs the way it is set up. You won't go wrong with this truck."
