I own this car - My approximate mileage is 62,355
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "fun to drive handles well and it's a head turner!!"

"I purchase this vehicle it was apparently an off lease had low miles and was only 2 years old. The dealer got me a great rate on Financing. This was a certified preowned vehicle and they honored the warranty and told me if a repair was covered!! The only fault I found was how quickly the original tires worn out actually Dry rotted but this is not ford's fault"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 85,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Comfortable, reliable, safe."
Cons: "Don't change your own plugs"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"Comfort, reliability, safety, economics. Have never done anything except scheduled oil changes. My son and son-in-law are both mechanics who say not to replace the plugs until needed, and then to have it done at an authorized dealer. When new, I could have loaded a Ford escort on back, carried my entire family in the cab, and gotten almost as good mileage as the escort alone. So much for the greenies and their push for low efficient toys."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 65,000
overall rating 6 of 10rating detailsPros: "Great looks, fun to drive, goes through anything"
Cons: "Too many problems with the Triton 5.4 engine"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"I love the looks of the truck and how it drives. On this FX4 model, the rear end differential will lock to give you better traction by giving power to both rear tires when it needs more traction in the mud or snow. We had a bad snow storm with 3 to 4 foot drifts on the highway and this truck went right through. I was the only one in the neighborhood that could get out. What I hate is the 5.4 Triton V8 engine. It seems to have good power, but there are so many things that go wrong with it. The spark plugs tend to snap off when removing and you need a special tool to get the electrode part out. The cam phasers, timing chain, timing chain adjusters etc. have a lot of expensive problems. Mine has been in the dealer now for a month trying to chase down the problems and the extended warranty provider doesn't want to pay. Make sure you use the Motorcraft filter and the recomended Motorcraft synthetic blend oil if you want any hope of making this engine last or get it fixed under warranty. Of course the gas mileage is not going to be good on this truck, I get usually 12 to 13 mpg. Best I got in two years is 15 on the highway. After the engine is fixed, I'm hoping to get a little better but not expecting much on this beast of a truck. My truck has a slight lift kit in the front to make the whole truck a little higher and ride level. Looks great that way and i don't haul much or tow with this truck so it's fine."
