"Bought the truck used just out of warranty. That was a mistake. In less than a month, I had a blown head gasket, a brake computer failure, and a couple of other minor problems. Cost me around three grand to repair.
Since then, though, it has been a very dependable truck, with normal wear and tear registering on the five star level. Did a brake job with full rotors, had a front wheel bearing failure, and the ball joints are shot, soon to be replaced. Did a full transmission job on it at 60,000 miles, but the previous owner may have towed a trailer with it, or a boat, as it has hitch gear still on the truck. The entire towing package has been removed. This wear and tear, I think, is normal for a truck with almost 110,000 miles on it. I'd buy another one and likely will. The engine has run like a Rolex. The truck has about 50% highway miles on it since I've owned it. It gets lousy gas milage, average 13 mpg, but it's a truck."
"I love this truck. It has had its share of minor problems, but thats outweighed buy its performance and reliability. Only problems Ive had are a broken starter wire, power locks needed new actuator, odometer occasionaly blinks, had to replace tie rod ends. For 7 years and 117000 miles, thats not bad."
