"Ive driven this truck while under extreme duress. most gaskets/seals were either blown out or almost non existent. After a top end rebuild its ready for another 200000, i have every intention of taking it there too.all parts on this truck are inexpensive and fairly easy to find. My biggest recommendation whether it be brand new or found at a "pick your part" junkyard, get that high capacity radiator. it drops right in with two bolts and some tranny lines to uncouple."
"I really think that my truck is under rated for the price. Ive had it since I bought it new, and never done anything to it except change the oil in it, and put a k'nm filter on it. I drive my truck to work every day and its never broke down on me once. I know my truck has one of the most reliable motors and trans in it. Still runs like its new. I really think you guys need to update your prices on my trucks specs and the price on it cause a good realiable truck is worth more than the new ones they got these days that break down all the time."
"Bought it used and have driven it through gumbo and snow for over 14 years and she has never failed me. Had to replace tyranny, but 270,000 miles on original engine and she still purrs along as pretty as can be. While I like the 5 speed when driving in gumbo, snow and ice, I am getting to the point where having to shift isn't as much fun as it used to be. Since I have retired, don't need two 4x4's (hubby has a 2015 he lets me drive ), plus a 30 + mpg car, thinking about selling "Candy". Breaks my heart."
Cons: "Fuel Economy, Dosen't fit into small parking space"

"This truck is a very reliable work hprse. I have had a 5th wheel in it and moved mobile homes with it with only a 4.9 6cyl in it. Very Powerful Transmission with good torque. There's a reason that there's more 92-96 Fords on the the road than 92-96 Chevrolets, Dodges, and GMCs. It's great for out on the farm I work at. Even with 2wd I've only gotten stuck once and that was in a flash flood- and I take this truck mudding. I highly reccommend this truck to anyone looking for a sturdy, strong piece of American culture. If you have a family, I reccommend a 4 door unlike my regular cab."
