I own this car - My approximate mileage is 31,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Dependable, affordable to maintain"
Cons: "Loud engine, rough suspension, poor seats"

"My 2002 Sport Trac was originally purchased as a 2nd car because I have two 100lb dogs. The space after the back seats fold down is perfect for them. The small truck bed is more than adequate for light hauling. I never expected to have it nearly 10 years, and all I've had to do to it is regular maintenance, new front brakes and 4 new tires (new tires due to the original tires age, not wear). I think it has been a trustworthy vehicle and certainly has provided me with excellent value for the price. Everything is still in working order, there are no wind or water leaks. All of the power accessories are working. The gas mileage is very acceptable. The engine is a bit noisy, but for me it's powerful enough when needed. The ride is very hard - you feel every bump or pothole, yet when cruising on the highway it handles adequately. The seats could use more cushion, and the stereo sound could use more gusto. The running boards have started to rust. Overall, it has been a great investment and ranks (in my opinion) at the top of vehicles in its class."

"I have to say i have had my sport trac for 6 years now, and have put alot of miles on it and taken it just about everywhere. After 134,000 miles i have'nt had any issues with it. It has done everything i have needed it to and gone beyond expectations. I feel it still has another 150,000 miles in at least. Im hopeing to beat my last truck an F-150 and it had 268,000 miles on it when i sold it. I believe it will!"
