Best SUV I ever owned

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 145,230

Pros: "Luxury, comfortable, all the bells and whistles"

Cons: "uses a lot of gas"

"I have owned lots of cars and trucks, this is by far the best and most comfortable I have ever owned, I have even owned 5 Crown Vics that were newer but they were former Police Interceptors and did not ride as nice. My SUV is a 2001 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition, Red in Color with Tan Leather seats, 6 CD changer, VCR rear theater system, rear bench, rear captains chairs, captains chairs that are heated and electric in the front, rear heat and a/c, rear wiper, side rear windows open via electric switches, Titan engine 5.4"

Perfectly versatile

Pros: "Reliable, versatile, comfortable."

Cons: "Fuel consumption"

"I love how versatile this car is. I can haul lots of cargo or lots of people. Comfortable to drive, big enough to tow yet it's not a long truck so it also has good maneuverability. It has not been a problematic car mechanically, rather it has been quite reliable. Biggest con is the low fuel efficiency, though apparently it gets better gas mileage than its competitors."

great reliable car, very dependable

Pros: "great in bad weather, roomy for family"

Cons: "gas mileage should be better...."

"bought this truck for the Mrs. back in 2001 and finally this year she's gotten a different car so this truck is mine. Very reliable never left the family stranded anywhere. I handle most of my own maintenance and put very little into the truck. Considering what's on the market today in 2013-I still prefer my 2001 ford expy! Gas mileage could always be better but ride comfort, reliability and options in the truck are still my favorite perks. I did upgrade the radio to a navigation/DVD"

too big for me no kids left

Pros: "Its great for somone that has big fami or hauliin"

Cons: "too much gas but great car good for big families"

"The car is great for big families or someone who has to hauls boats or other things. The car has been nothing but pleasure to own but grandchildren moved out dont need such big car anymore. Exterior is beautiful or is interior car is red and has extra features. My family has enjoy this car so much hate to get rid of it."

Not bad - very functional

Pros: "Reliable, powerful, nice cruising"

Cons: "Brake wear, exterior & interior quality only fair"

"Very reliable drive train and power. Towed 24-foot lite camping trailer for 5 years and several thousand miles. No problems (except brake wear). Easy to drive. It has had paint problems - flaking and some rust. Wears out brakes faster than expected. Of course, doesn't get good gas mileage but hey. Interior appointments not great but OK. Some of the plastic dashboard and upholstery stuff seemed to break easily."
