Standout styling, class-leading fuel economy and a robust technology package are three reasons to include the new Escape on your small-SUV shopping list.
If you and your passengers like to stretch out, or if you really need the utility of a compact SUV – not just the raised seating position or added bulk – you might find the Escape a bit ti
The new Ford Escape is the sporty compact car of compact SUVs – a title it shares with the new Mazda CX-5. Ford's recent cars have impressed with European-like driving dynamics and feel, and the new Escape continues the trend. When outfitted with the 240-horsepower engine, there's not a competitor that could keep up. Fortunately, the characteristics that contribute to the high fun-factor also help make the Escape a pleasure to drive to the store and the office. The 1.6- and 2.0-liter EcoBoost engines are terrific, both delivering smooth,

"I had been looking at the new Escape body style for a while and I love the complete body redesign!! It handles very well on the road. I got the 2013 SEL with a lot of added options. I love the backup camera with the ability to zoom in on a tow hitch. I love the panoramic sun roof that opens all the way into the back seat. The touch screen with navigation is definitely easier than trying to see what turns I need to take next from my phone. The Sony stereo was an upgrade as well, but I love turning up the music. The volume indicator is divided into 5 sections and just turning it up to the first hash mark has pretty good volume. The first time I took it on the freeway for an extended period of time, I averaged about 32 MPG, and this vehicle is only rated to get about 30 MPG on the highway. In town the MPG varies because of the low rate of speed and the stopping and going and turning the engine on and off, but I get about 22-23 which is what it's rated to get. I love the push start engine and it also comes with a remote start. So on a cold day I can turn it on a few minutes before I have to leave and the car will be nice and warm; or if it's hot outside, the car gets cooled down. The system remembers your previous temperature settings, so if it was hot yesterday and I had the A/C on and it's hot again today, I can remote start it a few minutes before I want to leave and the car will be nice and chilly! It also has 2 USB hookups so I can sync my iPod and all of my music just comes up on the touch screen. There are 2 ports for car chargers, 1 near the gear shift and the other is inside the center console. I like the one in the center console because if my phone is dying, I can connect it to that one and just leave my phone in the center console because with the sync system I can connect my phone and if someone calls me, it alerts me and I can answer it and talk to whoever called through the speaker system. There is also the red/white/yellow connections like on a TV so on long road trips my family can hook up our portable DVD player and it plays on the touch screen. There is also a outlet (like what's in the house) in the backseat. So if I have work to do on my laptop and the battery is going to die, I can plug in the charger! Although my husband thinks it can be used to hook up his X-Box, which is probably true, we'll have to test it out. I am just overall thoroughly loving my car!"

"Outstanding quality and construction and with the Titanium package, there's almost nothing this car doesn't have. I have had more compliments on this car than my Lexus GS when it was new. Excellent performance, mileage is pretty good. All it needs is a Tire pressure monitoring system and AC seats and it would be a luxury class vehicle."
