Pros: "Smooth ride with tons of room"

Cons: "None that I can think of at the moment"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Overall our 2010 Edge has been a great crossover. It drives likes a car and has tons of room comparable to any mid sized SUV. The interior could certainly be improved (which it was in the new 2011 model) but is perfectly fine and comfortable. Other than a new battery and a minor sensor glitch, we've had no problems with our Edge and are completely satisfied with its versatility and quality. There isn't much to say other than you really can't go wrong if you decide to buy one new or used."

Pros: "Average driving experience."

Cons: "The console takes up too much space. SYNC sucks."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"2010 onboard SYNC is a joke, usually does not work, cannot understand English and cannot locate the cell phone. Transmission was rebuilt at 11200 miles. When they dropped the transmission they found a broken bolt inside of it. Kept the car three days to work on it, under warranty. At <13500 miles the transmission is slipping again and will be going in for service. This is not acceptable, I am a gentle driver using the vehicle only locally. My main complaint, aside from mechanical, is the huge front seat console that takes up so much room."

An Alaskan Edge

""I didn't used to like Ford, I was more a GM guy, if not a Toyota one. But, my wife told me she liked the Edge...skeptically I decided to look at it. I had already looked at some things I thought I had liked. All it took was a turn of the key...instantly I fell in love. The dash lit up, all the electronic and slick looking interior had me entranced. Then I drove it. All I could say was "I usually don't like Ford...but I am going to buy this car." I explained to the salesman that I was buying it, he didn't even have to pitch it to me. There was no sales tactic needed. It has been over a year now, and not a regret, not one. The only thing that I could improve would be the gas mileage. But, we live in Alaska, so in the winter we leave it running a lot. Great in the snow and ice, even with all-season tires, I don't even use studs or Blizzaks due to the great AWD and handling. To top it all off, it looks great and is super comfortable. Surprisingly I think that this quality car has taken me from my GM loyalties...I am now a Ford guy.""

Pros: "Super comfy, sturdy, smooth ride, great looking"

Cons: "Little pricy, blind spots"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I cannot say enough amazing things about this vehicle. I've only owned it for a short while now, but i love it. I bought a used 2010 SEL with 43000km on it and it has been a dream. The only negative thing i've found to possibly say about it is the blind spots; they're a little difficult to navigate, but the mirrors have the cut out that let you see further into the other lane so its not a huge deal. I feel so safe in this vehicle, and the ride is so smooth. Even my boyfriend who has said many times he will ONLY buy trucks, said he would purchase this vehicle for himself as well."
