The Ford Edge offers a balanced ride, multiple engine choices, and a wide range of tech and amenity options that can morph it from a sub-$30,000 family hauler to a powerful, blinged-out machine reachi
With a 5-passenger limit, you'll have to look to a 3-row crossover like the Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, Subaru Tribeca, or upcoming Hyundai Santa Fe if you need to carry more bodies. Also, the Edg
All three of the available engines do a fine job of moving the 2013 Ford Edge. The least-powerful but most-efficient engine, the turbocharged 4-cylinder that also does duty in the Ford Escape and even the big Explorer, is a good fit here, never feeling overwhelmed in trying to move the squat vehicle. The 3.5-liter V6 that is standard is a dutiful employee, getting the Edge to speed adequately, while the top-line 3.7-liter V6 with its 305 horsepower effortlessly gets the Ford up freeway onramps in a hurry and has plenty of gusto left for passing

Review this carBy Jim (MN) on Sunday, February 17, 2013
I owned and sold this car
Reason: Excessive Road noise, rough riding, SYNC electrical problems, no heated mirrors - My approximate mileage is 20,000
Pros: "Paint color"
Cons: "Noisy, rough riding, problems"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"Not impressed, should never had bought - very noisy, rough riding (you can burn your self with hot coffee driving down a good flat road with minimal imperfections); you can feel every crack and tar snake in this vehicle. Also no heated mirrors - bad for winter states; mysterious Sync electrical problems - radio, horn and lights will come on at times, dealer says this can happen at times......my 2010 Dodge Journey beats this vehicle hands down, may need to buy another Journey!"

I owned and sold this car
Reason: No third row seat which I now need - My approximate mileage is 93,500
Pros: "Cute sporty small SUV, Great V6"
Cons: "No Third Row Seat Option. 6 years later?"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I just traded in a 2007 Ford Edge SEL with 93,000 miles. As long as you do the 30K, 60K, 90K maintenance (which I did), this car is awesome!!! Mine had the DVD Entertainment System and Parking Sensors. Was a good vehicle. I hated to part with it."
