The Ford Edge offers a balanced ride, multiple engine choices, and a wide range of tech and amenity options that can morph it from a sub-$30,000 family hauler to a powerful, blinged-out machine reachi
With a 5-passenger limit, you’ll have to look to a 3-row crossover like the Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, Subaru Tribeca, or upcoming Hyundai Santa Fe if you need to carry more bodies. Also, the Edg
All three of the available engines do a fine job of moving the 2013 Ford Edge. The least-powerful but most-efficient engine, the turbocharged 4-cylinder that also does duty in the Ford Escape and even the big Explorer, is a good fit here, never feeling overwhelmed in trying to move the squat vehicle. The 3.5-liter V6 that is standard is a dutiful employee, getting the Edge to speed adequately, while the top-line 3.7-liter V6 with its 305 horsepower effortlessly gets the Ford up freeway onramps in a hurry and has plenty of gusto left for passing

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 40,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Smooth ride with tons of room"
Cons: "None that I can think of at the moment"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"Overall our 2010 Edge has been a great crossover. It drives likes a car and has tons of room comparable to any mid sized SUV. The interior could certainly be improved (which it was in the new 2011 model) but is perfectly fine and comfortable. Other than a new battery and a minor sensor glitch, we've had no problems with our Edge and are completely satisfied with its versatility and quality. There isn't much to say other than you really can't go wrong if you decide to buy one new or used."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 13,500
overall rating 7 of 10rating detailsPros: "Average driving experience."
Cons: "The console takes up too much space. SYNC sucks."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1
"2010 onboard SYNC is a joke, usually does not work, cannot understand English and cannot locate the cell phone. Transmission was rebuilt at 11200 miles. When they dropped the transmission they found a broken bolt inside of it. Kept the car three days to work on it, under warranty. At <13500 miles the transmission is slipping again and will be going in for service. This is not acceptable, I am a gentle driver using the vehicle only locally. My main complaint, aside from mechanical, is the huge front seat console that takes up so much room."
