"This van is a tank, very sturdy. Holds a lot of gear.
This does not handle like a sports car, but once you get used to the fairly slow steering and learn to use the side mirrors, it does well on the road. Parking in close quarters is a challenge due to its size and battleship turn radius.
Mileage is not bad for its size, keep it at 60 on the highway and it gets 16, go 75 and it gets 14-15 less with a ladder rack. The 4.6 V-8 is smooth and just adequate on power"
"This Van was purchased for a Vietnam vet with MS. It already has a wheel chair lift installed. It was only used every other week to take him to the VA clinic. We nolonger need this van for such trips."
Cons: "It's a work vehicle - not a pleasure vehicle."

"I purchased this van new in 2000 and used it for work. It has been wrecked once by an employee and repaired. For the mileage I don't think that the operating costs are out of line: actually better than I would expect. Fuel economy is adequate and it has plenty of power. I have loaded quite a bit of weight on it, and it never "squats" or groans. I will consider replacing it with another Ford the next time I need to do so."
"This excursion van is for those who enjoy travel along the highways. 20,000 of it's 90,000 miles is city and it's killing this gem. It was owned by my mother who as a foster parent travel the US with her foster children in tow. This van has seen so much of America and is in need of someone who can truly appreciate it's value."
