"Bought it new. Transmission replaced by ford at 22,000 miles. Old unit out/new unit in. less than 4 hours. It has never been towed and has never let me down. I do all the services ahead of schedule with synthetic fluids in engine,trans,p/steer,differential,and a/c oil. I do coolant FLUSH and 2oz of syn a/c oil every 50k. I originally changed all those fluids at 000,100 miles. I do the eng oil every 8,000, BG induction svc every 30,000, power steering--trany--differential --brake fluid and A/c oil every 50,000, still has original calipers, all wet a/c components. I replaced a/c actuator @ 237,000 mi. (did the htr core while the dash was out.)I did a m/cyl and a/c blower resistor and rear air springs, freeze plugs, water pump, serp.belt, tensioner an f/clutch(maint) 2X spark plugs and Wires (maint) original lights except bulb in 3rd brake lt. rr turn sig bulb and socket, tag lite. all other lites are original. biggest problem is the clear coat on the paint is peeling. I also replaced the intake manifold with a new version from ford. It split behind the alternator. I found out about the recall on the intake to late so I paid for the ford kit and labor. I replaced all rubber hoses at 125,000 I replace my batteries every 2 years whether they need it or not. It still has the original alternator and starter. I replaced ball joints tie rod ends idler arm and stabilizer links at 237,000 mi. U-joints are original. I have replaced window motors in all the doors. I also did both cat converters at 237,000 (left was setting a code but I did both. NAPA units ($450.00 for both) ford wanted $1600.00 and the NAPA units had the exact ford number stamped on them. the rest of the exhaust is original. I did lifetime shocks at Sears at 45,000 and have replaced them 3 times(parts and labor FREE) The car was built in Canada 05/1996 I drive it every day. I have never added engine oil between changes and have never had an oil leak of any kind. the leather drivers arm rest is worn and the stitching by the rear window is coming apart at the seams because of the hot Florida sun. It was made in North America and I am proud to say I have never owned a car or truck that wasn't. This car also has a digital dash and everything still works."
