"i adore my 96 talon. its a beautiful car, it just has some minor issues. theres quite a bit of plastic parts, and the transmission isnt particularly amzing, but it gets me anywhere i need to go easily. but the suspension isnt made for michigan roads lol its very quick, very fun to drive and handles turns easily."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 119,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Powerful and fun"
Cons: "Premium gas, and sometimes not the most reliable"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I enjoy this car everyday it always is a kick to drive. Anyone would enjoy this car for the pure enjoyment. However it can be an expensive toy if anything goes wrong. Highly recommend for someone with money and time or just the ability to do repair work on some parts. I only had issues with mine because of the person before me but I baby it and it has not messed up sense."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 120,000
overall rating 7 of 10rating detailsPros: "VERY stylish, great on gas, fun to drive"
Cons: "Performance is underwhelming, not too comfortable"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 7
"The Talon is a dang nice looking car, I constantly find myself looking back in a parking lot and admiring it, and I definitely feel that I get looks while driving it. It's a very well-styled car. Reliable as well, gets me where I need to go and at 26 mpg it isn't at all bad at the gas pump. The fact that it's so small means that it turns on a dime as well, and can fit in spaces normal vehicles never would, which makes for a fun time. However, it's more about style than performance. Acceleration is borderline pathetic, and I find myself having to stomp it to the floor to get it up hills. It also isn't a particularly comfortable car, there is very little legroom and I literally have to squeeze my legs under the steering wheel to get in. The backseat is absolutely laughable. However, the seat folds down and the cardboard divider attached to the hatch is removable, revealing a surprising amount of cargo room, I've managed to fit a bike in mine. Overall, it's a pretty fun little car. Not the most practical, but for someone that doesn't do a lot of driving and wants to look cool and not sacrifice MPG, it's excellent."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 160,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Small car with power and gets great fuel mileage."
Cons: "Not a car you want in deep snow."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"Bought this car used from a friend and he was the second owner and the previous owner before him treated it bad, drove it hard and never took care of it. He put about three grand in it and drove it for five years with no problems and in the seven years I have owned it I have had to replace the exhaust system. I plan on driving it for years to come."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 180,000
overall rating 6 of 10rating detailsPros: "cheap price, pretty fast in higher speeds"
Cons: "slow as a bus out of the hole, no leg room"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"For what it is worth the car is a fun car to drive and you get a good amount of quickness for a cheap car. On the other hand be prepared for things to break on the car if you are ever so rough on it. Trying to put down all 210 horses on the street is hard. It took me awhile to learn how to launch my fwd talon. I can not speak for the awd for i would imagine you could dump the clutch and go."
