I own this car - My approximate mileage is 120,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "in 2012 it still runs like new"
Cons: "a/c fan switch keeps going out"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"this van is great. i bought 2 of them NEW. the only problem i have over the years is a/c - heat pannel there's some kind of desing flaw on the fan switch, i replaced it a coucle of times but it would go out each time. what happens is the only setting that still works is full blast on high. you have no control over the ranges of the fan (full blown cold/heat). HOWEVER YOU CAN still switch from heat to cold."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 225,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Great for the highway, but easy to drive around to"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"5.9 is very popular engine that gives pretty good gas mileage without any loss of power or drivability. Overdrive automatic transmission shifts great and helps with highway gas mileage. Cruise control also helps with gas economy. Front and rear A/C are ice cold!"

I owned and sold this car
Reason: Idler arm seperated from frame. - My approximate mileage is 166,236
Pros: "Comfortable, descent gas mileage, roomy."
Cons: "Heat and A/C never did that well, and frame rust."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8
"I got it from my mom at 161000 miles, put a little over 5000 miles on it before I had a major issue, the frame rusts overtime and eventually the idler arm rips right out of the frame, which could be deadly luckily I was stopped when it happened. If you want to get one check to see how much its rusted before you purchase it, and the a/c drain drips right on to the frame, ingenious idea by dodge."

"We bought it brand new for $28698 on November 1996.She was a showroom vehicle at Glenview Dodge in Glenview,Illinois. We bought it for our disabled son 3yrs old at the time, he is now 19. We equipped her with a handicapped lift, ramp and a DVD surround sound to entertain our family of 7 when we travel! The van has a powerful 5.4 Magnum V-8 engine that delivers a punch to the metal. We traveled into Mexico City twice in her lifetime. As a matter of fact we are leaving today for the third time to Mexico for the holidays. It is the reason I am here to get the van's value because we need to insure it for travel into Mexico. We love this van despite the fact she is getting old. It gives a comfortable ride and very quite sound proof interior. lots of luggage room in the back and not to mention has rack system for luggage on top! We hardly complained of any maintenance issues. The only major mechanical problems we had was power brakes, air conditioner, alternator and replaced the battery twice the whole time.Engine problems unheard of! I would never get rid of her as she will remain in our family for ages to come. Yes she is garaged kept and no rust! Many ask us if she ever will be for Sale, not a chance. She has a name, PRIMETIME and the name says it all!"
