Cons: "Rough ride, gas mileage (as with any pickup)"

"I had this truck for 2.5 years and I have put on over 30k. I did all maintenance myself and it didn't need much. Replaced a ball joint at 90k, but that's the only real repair I've done. Mine has the 5.7L Hemi and it's more power than you will likely need from a 1/2 ton pickup. The throttle is a little slow to respond from dead stop, but the addition of a programmer really wakes these trucks up and turns them into an even more white-knuckle ride if you have a lead foot. The ride in them is a little rough and living in small towns with very rough roads, it is noticeable, keep good shocks under it and it helps a lot. The A pillar is somewhat hard to see around at times, there's a little bit of a blind spot, but that's the same with any vehicle I've been in from recent years. Overall opinion, love it and would buy again given the opportunity!"
"I love my Ram. This is the fourth Ram I've owned and will definately buy another one. I travel back and forth between South Carolina and Pennsylvania on a regular basis. I don't get great gas milage, but I never worry about driving in any weather. Our family does a lot of campimg and the bed is big enough to take everyhing we really need and even stuff my wife thinks we need! I would definately reccomend this truck to anyone looking to purchase a full size pick up."
"This has been the best truck I have owned. 5.9L Magnum engine; super towing power; 4x4 w/ 20 inch wheels. 2002 Sport Quad cab. 12-15 mpg Rides great, easy driving, super AC/heater. Ten years old and still looks great. Great storage in the cab, fold up seats in the back. The last year for the 5.9L engine."
Pros: "Very reliable, good on mileage, low maintenance"
Cons: "Interior not as nice as 2003 Chevy or Ford"

"I bought this truck used in 2005 for $22K with 38K miles on it and now have 187K. It is a 2wd Cummins diesel w/6-spd manual. I bought to tow a boat occasionally, but use it for daily driving 99% of the time. I regularly get 22mpg city/29mpg hwy. Other than oil & air filter changes (every 7K miles), I have had to replace the water pump twice. That's it! I drive it hard, brake hard, and still running on original brakes and clutch. No kidding. I even got 85K miles out of the original Michelin tires, and the set after that, and NEVER roatated either sets once. The interior is beginning to show some wear and the paint is a little faded (not kept in a garage). Since the Cummins should easily go another 125K before a rebuild, I plan on driving this truck for many more years. I thought about trading in for a new or newer one, but why give up a good deal."
