Pros: "Cummins inline 6 engine, fun to drive, POWERFUL"

Cons: "Automatic Tranny, interior, front end, cup holders"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought this truck for $3000 in rough shape and fixed it up, the motor and trans are flawless! But it has that bad odge everything that wears out quick, but the cummins will definetly out last the body! But KBB doesn't keep up on the prices they are really selling for, old beat up ones sell for $4k and God condition is up to $20k here where I live! If you find one in excellent condition for $4k BUY IT!!! And plus being a diesel it gets 20+ mpg highway!"

"Everyone thinks my 16 year old Dodge Ram 150 is brand new! It confuses people, because they know it isn't the current model, but it sparkles as if it just rolled off the showroom floor. It's a hard working truck, the original owners were a military family on assignment in the Panama Canal Zone. When their tour of duty ended they drove this truck home to California, where I bought it for two thousand dollars. I have gotten my money's worth out of it many times over. I use it for landscape jobs, we've carried many loads of compost, but the truck still looks sharp."

This truck is a power house. i love it.

Pros: "Aesome to drive! I have a 3 inch lift kit and 33's"

Cons: "Rust Rust Rust"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I've had this truck since 2003. Purchased it at 23,000 miles and have had minimal problems. It has been completely reliable and been the perfect vehicle for where I live. Although its a gas guzzler, it's worth it. I've driven this truck through all conditions including mud, snow, water, etc... and never got stuck or had any issues. The only down side is the door rust along with the rust along my wheel wells. It is very common in this year truck especially at its age. I took preventative measures as soon as I saw the rust but it continues to spread. Needed a few things here and there but well worth paying to keep it running."

Pros: "very reliable, all works except cruise control."

Cons: "paint & clear coat flaking off, rear bumper dent"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 6

"This truck has been used pretty much as an every day reliable work truck. It has been very reliable, and tough, and pulls strong! it is an SLT 4x4 Long bed with $1000 worth of almost new tires (less than 2000 miles on them). and is in year 2 of a 7 year battery. Everything is original on the truck except the radio/cd and the Tires. I replaced the original am/fm radio with an am/fm/cd because the original rattled and I like to listen to my cd's. the original still works fine and is available and the 6 speaker sound system (infinity) is top of the line. What holds it back from being a premium value truck is the paint. typically Dodge and Chevy used horrible primer and clear coats in the 80's to mid 90's...the clear coat has cracked and started to flake off and the hood and roof are showing rust spots through the paint. Over all though This is an awesome truck with relatively low miles for 20 years old."
