best year of dodge trucks and best truck ever

"i love this body style of dodges and the year of it because they still look like a truck and not like a wana b truck i love the heak out of my 1999 dodge ram 1500 318 4x4 its the best truck i will ever have and if it finaly goes out one day i will be proud to fix what ever is wrong with it and if i cant i will buy another one just like this one dodge realy needs to come back with a real truck like this one"

Drive it till it dies!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 98,000

Pros: "fun powerful truck, looks sharp, tows well!"

Cons: "gas hog (aren't they all?) , blind spots"

"I have had this 99 dodge ram 1500 sport for 8 years now bought it used with about 68,000 miles on it. It now is in servicing at 98,000 miles. As you see, I don't drive it that much, but when I do it performs very well. Mostly local driving with some towing (moving trailers etc.) It still looks and drives like new (many people comment how new it still looks). I hate to think when I will have to replace it some day as I only paid $7900 for it and like my title says...I will drive it till it dies.!!! Of course it is a gas hog, especially when we are "forced" to use "ethanol" , but being it has been paid for along time now, it beats a car payment."

Best Truck Ive Owned!

"I am the PROUD owner of a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L V8 Sport. It is a single cab with a 7and a half ft. bed and a 27 and a half gallon tank. It has after market American Racing rims that are 245/75 R 16's. This Truck ( although a Chevy boy at heart ) has kept my country butt moving and trucking from Grand Forks ND to Estherville IA for almost 3 months now. I bought it for $1,500 and it has not had problems yet. It is 2wd and never breaks down. I can mud or race and beat down on it and it still fails to keep from amazing me each and every day. My wife was skeptical at first but now as we go from place to place has a smile on her face at the sound of the single exhaust out the passenger rear before the rear tire. We are glad we got a steal for a truck of this magnitude and of these standards and would recommend a Dodge Ram gladly to our friends if asked. I would personally like to thank Kelly Blue Book for the opportunity to be able to post the pleasure of this truck with them. I am greatly appreciative and would proudly post with them again."

Remarkably strong and reliable truck

Dodge ram 1500

"This truck will run forever. I love it! dosnt get bad for mpg. if you keep your foot out of it the tranny will last the trucks life. I have 140k on it now and never put a new tranny in it yet, also it don't shif hard, or slip. this truck is awesome. but you have to be a dodge fan."
