"I recently traded in my 1998 Plymouth Neon Expresso (first owner) for a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT due to increasing maintenance costs and mechanical failures. In sum, I'm extremely pleased with the performance and features of the 2005. I also own a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan SE (112k miles); it's proven to be a reliable vehiclel. I recommend the purchase of a Caravan to my friends and family but NOT a Neon (all makes/models/years) as it's plagued w/mechanical issues."
"The Dodge Caravan has been wonderful, reliable and so convenient to travel in with family far away in different directions. We've become the "club-sandwich" generation with parents, children and grandchildren strewn all-over. My car has been the meat of the club sandwich holding me together through much stress and trauma and joys of new life."
"Early into ownership I complained that the control panel was crowded and complicated. After the learning curve it is now manageable but still cluttered. I find the dished out back on the seats to be uncomfortable on long rides. The 'wings' of them push against the rib cage and become uncomfortable. I have a terrible back but my wife does not and also finds them a bit annoying. The engine is peppy and the ride is quiet and comfortable and for me, at least, the upright sitting position is great. It's hard to find much to complain about with this vehicle. A pleasant surprise to what I had previously thought when considering vans."
