"If we could go back in time, we would never buy a Chrysler mini-van. We had to replace the entire transmission at 60,000 miles. The auto-shop told us that this type of repair is typical of Chylser mini-vans, in fact, especially the Voyager.
The car sounds awful going up any hill. Although it has only had the one MAJOR, $6,000 repair, we would not recommend this van. Fortunately, we bought the extended warranty and the vehicle was covered for one transmission replacement."
Cons: "Mileage, & pickup, not good for a 2.4L engine."

"Loved it after we got it in 2010. Retired 2 years before. Finally realized there was little that would need expensive repair, like power windows, locks, seats, etc. The only automatic things have to do with safety, like auto shut off of door lights, power outlet, etc. No major problems all this time. Not a lot of power to haul loads, though.
However, .mny grandson just rear-ended someone at a traffic light."
"Now have 190K on van and it is still running strong. I believe in preventive maintenance!!!!! I have changed transmission oil and filter every 50K, engine oil 3-5K and replaced parts that normaly "wear out" (i.e. battery, water pump, struts, etc). So far it has been a great van."
